Just a side note but if anyone has seller credits in their account and wants them applied for 22-23 season ticket payments, you need to call or email your rep and tell them that. I sold a game every round in the playoffs, realized the credit was just sitting in my account so had them apply it for the next 3 payments.
You can apply the credit in your membership account online. Manage invoices, renewal invoice, payment method.

Good to know. Must be new. Havent see that before but I do now. Maybe they got sick of having people call and email them

Just spoke with my rep and he told me to expect relocation emails to go out some point next week.

Why shouldn’t there be a lot available? Where else would all those blue dots on TM for every game go?

Rangers won't release them as full seasons if they can sell them for more as mini plans or individual games.
This x1000

The Rangers and I imagine most big market teams would much prefer to sell seats at a premium markup to 41 different fans over the course of the year than one die hard fan.

Folks that come to one or two games a year are much more likely to drop money in the team store, food, drinks etc compared to the die hard that comes all the time that might spend $30 if they're lucky on a given night.

Guess all those blue dots on TM must mean there were x1000 demand for the premium markups. Laughable logic

Literally for pretty much every game last season I can buy the cheapest get-in an hour before for around $60 then look at the TM Map at the game and sit at those lonely premium markup blue dot seats

If I recall, they had a good amount on the map last time relocations came across. It only really dried up as we got to more recent tenures. Even with new business, they've had good selections over the past year or two. The only seating sections they really seem to hold back are the 400's since those are the cheapest.

I expect there to be decent selections simply because they're sitting on so much inventory at this point. When's the last time full season ticket holders got to add on playoff strips at plan pricing? That's unheard of and should give you an idea of how much they have available. Their ticket base has been eroded over the years with the price increases which is reflected in the low attendance numbers early in the season.

You're ignoring the fact that in 2018-19 and 2019-20, the team was rebuilding and was not that good. Of course people expected things to get better this year, but even with that, you're talking about being a bubble team. Last year you couldn't go outside of 10% capacity, so those are the only seasons you can go off of.

This team just went to the Conference Final. Those blue dots you got to sit in this year are going to more likely be gone this upcoming season, whether it be a mini-plan or a half season being scooped up because fans are more likely to commit to these games in advance now that they have seen the team compete and contend.

I'd also expect more of the big businesses to get back into the building as the shift from work from home to being back in the office is all but complete. Entertaining clients is going to happen, so if you were down in the 100s, that won't happen. You might be able to do it for the non-premium west teams or the basement east team, but the bigger games will be sold.

Hold on, you were able to do that? I was looking to get the seat next to my pair and got shutdown by my rep and had to pay full price for each game through Ticketmaster.

Yes, a bunch of people I know with full seasons got an offer to add on strips before the playoffs. I have no idea if there were specific qualifications in terms of tenure but from what I understood, if you had a pair you could add on 2 more to max out at 4 for playoffs. People with 3 or more seats may not have gotten the offer since it would put them at more than 4 seats. Also, it seems like 10 game plan holders were able to get every other game (plan only guarantees you 1 a round) while half season plan holders were able to get every game at plan pricing (only guaranteed every other game) by being offered to purchase the other plan that they don't have strips in an alternate location.

During that additional strip offer there was a lot of inventory available in good locations too. It didn't seem to move at all.

Yea, I'm curious to see how it looks like this season though given their recent run + the fact that Covid is no longer a thing in the minds of most. Also remember that non-vaxxed people couldn't (technically) attend games.

Half or even more of last season was still under lock and key due to covid. Demand got a lot better in the second half when things loosened up.

That being said, as we enter a potential recession and a lot of the helicopter money from Covid dries up, also a probability that people may cut back on spending.

Point being, there's a lot of factors going into play here, but my guess is the first half of last season was an outlier in terms of the dry demand due to the fear and restrictions still being in place from covid.
