I can see it happening but to me, wholesaling your stock is no different than selling it at retail. I can just imagine the GM conversation as he's ready to ship a player out "Hold on before signing the deal, first I need to unload 4,928 Gomez Jerseys to TJ Maxx"

There's definitely a buyer for the MSG stores, they probably have contingency plans in place for it. They're still making margin on it, even if it's a discounted player selling at a discount.

They are doing this again. Don't expect T-Shirts going to the game with this promotion again. They're affirming what I thought before; getting rid of all the Reebok jerseys they can before they become obsolete.

Do we know when a decision will be made on game 6 start time? Not until after the preds and hawks play?

Considering this is the season ticket holders thread, I'll say I hope they never add a 12:30. lol
Actually would love if it was a 10:30AM game on Saturday. I have a flight to catch that afternoon. I could pull off going to the game then rush to the airport if the game started at 10:30 and ended around 1:00PM.

I can just imagine the atmosphere at MSG for a 10:30 am start. :D

So myself and a fellow board member bought a pair of tickets for last night game off of a broker one ebay who we've used in the past with no problems, guy has well over 100 positive feed back comments, the whole nine yards...

I get the tickets and i enter the barcodes into the ticket exchange to validate them, and lock them so nobody else can either enter them for resale. No issues, ticket exchange accepts the barcodes and I post them for sale for the maximum allowed price.

An hour passes by, I remove them from the exchange as I'm walking up the ramp to the turnstyle to go into the building, hand the ticket taker my ticket and bam they don't work.. We go to window 1 and are told that the broker was buying tickets with a fraudulent credit card and all of their sales were cancelled, thus leaving us SOL. We ended up buying tickets at the box office for about what we paid the broker so we got into the game and whatnot. I emailed the broker multiple times and he immediately refunded me for the cost of the tickets plus the small difference in what we paid at the box office so alls well that ends well. But I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that even the validating and locking the barcodes trick isn't 100% full proof.. Stick to buying from STHs with account to account transfers, ticket exchange or stubhub.

TL/DR I fought a ticket broker who sold me fraudulent tickets and won.

That's mighty kind for a guy who committed credit fraud a few hours earlier

Wow. But yeah, if it is not the ticket exchange or stubhub, caveat emptor.

Never know, MSG could have been full of it. They may have noticed he bought so many, so just canceled all his purchases knowing he was doing so to flip?

Probably, that and the St Louis-Minnesota game.

Sam Rosen said on WFAN that he thinks that game 6 will be at 3 PM.

I hope not. I have a family function at 2pm.

But, I would think NBC would want the Rangers for the 8pm slot as would CBC want Montreal.

What I am wondering is which is the priority for NBC? If both of those series end tonight, that leaves Edmonton-San Jose as the only other game.

That is probably exactly where it goes. TJ Maxx, Marshall's, etc. However, wouldn't be surprised if they could sell it under the Fanatics/Fans Edge banner, just not through the shop on NHL.com

I always add a disclaimer to any RSVP.

Same question I posted in another thread - when will game time be officially posted?
