Just printed paper tickets for tomorrow's game and the pdf has "$20 MSG comp credit" written under the section number. What does that mean? Is it a credit for food or merchandise, and if so how do I use it?

Thanks,

Frank

posting from the road but your problem is that the Rangers made a mistake and opened all games for printing. Like others I printed all my round 1 games and filled all my sales so that's what stubhub is seeing. The Rangers discovered the mistake and closed printing to all but home game 1.

Yes many filled, but not even close to most is my guess. Its going to be a sh**storm if they start cancelling sales especially if prices go lower and by the time they realize what happened it'll be too late they will have screwed tons of sellers

My advice to you is to call back and ask for a supervisor and explain. The peon who answers the phone will not help you

That explains why the guy to whom I forwarded my tickets for tuesday was able to print them immediately.

Are those Madison Club seats? Those come with an extra $20 loaded, you can take them to any concessions stand and buy food, alcohol, merchandise, or even tip a staff member. Just keep in mind most people working the registers at MSG are completely clueless so expect a blank stare when you try to pay with your ticket until they talk to a manager 2 stalls over and they tell them to just scan the stupid barcode on their machine

Still have my tickets up on the ticket exchange, just lowered the price but when I looked to see recently sold, there hasn't been anyone buying really since April 10th. I looked at StubHub and there's only like 3 sets of tickets in my section and on ticketexchange there's a ton. Do you guys think selling on stub hub is better? And how do I go and download them to StubHub?? Thanks!!!

I post wherever I can until it comes to the expensive games that are like $400+. At that point the risk becomes too high that you'll get screwed on stubhub that I prefer to list on ticketexchange where it's a guaranteed transaction for both sides and you also get better prices.

Nope, these are my normal gallery seats in section 210, which is why I was surprised to see the $20 item listed on the ticket. Nothing mentioned in my account, nothing mentioned by my rep, nothing on the hard tickets - now I'm wondering if I had twenty bucks all year that I didn't know about.

Anyway, thanks for the reply - we'll see if the credit works tomorrow.

Is there a resale thread for playoffs? I am looking to sell tonight's game at my cost of $192 per ticket. Section 113, row 19.

Once again primary market ticket prices have dropped.... well below what they were yesterday and well below what STH's paid. Club Blue's have dropped about $90 from where they were yesterday.

If I buy a pair for tonight on SH, can I get in with a digital PDF? Or does it need to be printed hard copy of the PDF?

You need the PDF's printed. If you're buying last second and can't print, go through Ticket Exchange. I believe it's open up until game time now and you can use the QR codes on your phone to get in.

There's a FedEx/kinkos up the street on 7th Ave that I use to print from Stubhub. Runs you about $4. Strangely, the prices seem better on ticket exchange today though, which isn't usually the case.

I was denied playoff tickets unless I renewed for next year...I did not want to renew and thus I can not get playoff tickets this year...that's what I'm pissed about

I thought you had an option for buying playoff tickets, but you had to pay in full, up front, and you'd need to pay the juice for not renewing...

Am I mistaken?

<edit> Never Mind.... </edit>

BTW Canadians fans were INSUFFERABLE in the street after the game. You'd think they just won the Cup. Gotta get back on track and sweep the 2 games at the Garden. Rangers are a better team

I remember being up in Quebec skiing during one of the lockout seasons, and the mood around the town was as if everyone's mother died.

Doesn't surprise me. Any car fires?

I think that turned out to be a crock. Heard from two people who had mini-plans. They were told in the beginning of the year they could get play-off tickets. Then, were told only if they either renewed or put a deposit towards a plan next season. One told them to f off, and then didn't respond to their emails or calls. One kept calling every other day and they finally gave in.

I thought this was regarding playoff rights for full STHs who are guaranteed playoff tickets. This year it seems the guarantee is there but its a lot easier if you're renewing.

On the other hand, mini plan holders might be told they'll get playoff tickets but unless it's writing...

so so glad I did not renew for next year...6 straight home playoff losses and most of them shutouts....totally unacceptable performance last night, it is a waste of money going to these games and watching some of these fat cats like Kreider and Hayes just goof around the ice..I feel bad for poor Hank he deserves better than this.

I was at the prior 5 of those and thought not being there last night would break the jinx. :p

You're right, Hank stepped it up but I don't know what it is with those guys - it's like they get no sleep in NY so they doze off on MSG ice. You also didn't mention Zib. I know this is not the right thread - I thought it was a great trade but can't help but thinking we'd be up 2-1 if Brass was still here.

At leask Skjei scored a fluke goal right after the announcers mentioned Price hadn't given up a goal in 100+ minutes so it wasn't a shutout. There's that.

Not to mention the place was "dead" last night. I cannot remember a playoff game where atmosphere was worse. Maybe it's the prices or being Easter Sunday but the crowd never got into it + I saw many empty seats at the start. The Habs fans showed up and made some noise
