There's not enough buyers in NYC to buy those singles at those prices for round 1 (in my experience). So then the question is, how are they going to unload all the unsold inventory. The All For One was a way to unload by offering "cheap" tickets so that's out the window. I can't imagine their issuing groupons for the playoffs, that would be pretty embarrassing.

Rangers haven't activate game 1 tickets yet for print at home, it's within 72 hours
edit: somebody at MSG f**ked up, they activated game 2 for print at home instead of game 1

Think maybe they discount the all for one further on game day? Unless they just take their own excess inventory and dump it to a broker or secondary sites themselves.

Thanks. I was asking since printing wasn't turned on yet. It's extremely convenient, yet I still pay for the hard tickets every year.
Yeah same here. I've used Apple Wallet QR code, but still pay for the hard tickets. They are collecting dust in my hockey memorabilia pile.

Sorry - late to the show. I have had season tix for a while and looked all over my invoices etc. and could not find what the price was for playoffs. Now I find out about the new pricing. This is something they should have let us know about beforehand. I have no problem if they want to price change tickets that do not belong to STH - which I noticed they started doing this year. But I think for us it becomes a little more problematic selling your tickets off . We will see, have to digest a bit....
any ideas how we can fight this issue with the playoffs? I put in a dispute with my credit card company but they can not help...I am really thinking of contacting my lawyer and suing them for false advertising...any ideas how we can stand up on this playoff issue?

my guess is he is pissed that the ticket prices go up in the playoffs....youd be amazed what the cup finals ticket prices run for but it doesnt surprise me people will pay the money to see the chance that the rangers can lift the cup again

I'm pissed that ticket prices go up for the playoffs as well. Why should they cost more than regular season games? That said, I'm not calling my attorney about it.
