I don't think there is anything official yet. Stubhub shows Thursday (with a 1:00 start) and Saturday while the Rangers show dates in June!

Saturday is official. All other dates will be released AFTER tomorrows Kings/Anaheim game.

Games 1 and 2 are set.

Game 1 Saturday 1pm.
Game 2 Monday 8 pm.

I would think that weeknight games will be 8pm starts going forward, since there will be, at best, only one game shown on a given day.

Stubhub is showing the dates as TBA, but in the actual URL of the home game events you can see the dates 5/22, 5/24, 5/28. Let's hope those stick.

Soooo....

Never mind, nhl.com just updated...

I think that second schedule was if the Ducks won tonight. NBC would have taken game 4 for their prime time game but opted for LA - CHI instead.

Don't worry, they'll find a way. I mean 10 home dates and not a single Friday or Saturday game? Seriously?

Games 1 and 2 of the SCF are set for Wednesday June 4th and Saturday June 7th as of now so we won't be getting weekend games at home if we get there. That could possibly change though if the series end early.

I'm curious when the last time a team went to the SCF and didn't have a single Friday/Saturday game in 13+ home games. Maybe we can be the first!

It could always be worse. The circus could be in town, and Rangers home games would need to be played either in Nassau or Newark....

but that would mean the end of the tax exemption....

Barclays center?:sarcasm:

I was there for the Devils / Isles pre-season game. Although the seats up high and on the east end of the bowl are nice for hockey, the ones near the main entrance / occulus are awful for hockey.

If a Rangers "home game" was ever scheduled outside of the Garden, they'd lose their property-tax and ConEd subsidies. The value of such subsidies rivals the team's annual payroll.

I know this is totally off topic but how does someone build a brand new Arena in Brooklyn not fit for Hockey as well as basketball. I heard they could only fit about 16,000 for Hockey at the Barclays Center.

I give them credit that they at least put an ice plant in the building.

But that being written, assuming that a larger arena could be built for NHL hockey, I don't think Wang was ever interested in Brooklyn during the time the plans were made up. Wang wanted the Lighthouse, and the builders of the Barclay's Center were not going to invest the capital for hockey if they didn't have a committed tenant.

Where did you get those dates from? Are they official?
Since the Kings and Hawks both have more points than the Rangers, does that mean that the Western Conference has home ice?
