Game 1, SCF, sold 4, $1,086 each.

Sec 209, Row 3

I think prices will go up. City seems to be catching Ranger fever! Plus, whenever it is decided who is in, some of their fans will get into the market to buy tickets. Might not be thousands, but has to be hundreds.

Good for you on the sale. :handclap:

I would also say the buyer thought he / she is paying a good price. I could relate to the buyers thinking. Everyone wants to say, "I was there when...". How much is that worth? So Ranger fever? Sure. It happens with championship runs in big markets.

How many Stanley cup final games will be seen at the Garden over one's lifetime? If someone wishes to attend the "main attraction" they found a cheaper/ less hassle alternative to owning season tix. Unfortunately the demand from the casual fan prices out the dedicated fan.

Hopefully the Rangers make it to the finals. It's good for NY and the NHL in general.

These prices are insane...cheapest prices to get in around 330 for game 3. If they win, game 4 to clinch on a holiday weekend with everybody off sunday, that could be 400+ easy.

Sold one for game 3

Probably gonna sell the pair for game 4. Hopefully it'll be a clinching chance.

Finals tickets... I don't know

How much do you guys think a SCF game 6 would for? Obviously if the Rangers faced elimination the market would be softer, but if they had a chance to take the Cup? Man I can only imagine. Get in the door right now is $1260 for home game 3. Seriously if this is going to take every 20 years people are going to mortgage their house to be in that building.

Sold my game 3 tickets this morning, kind of wish I waited another few hours, or even until tomorrow to get even more money. 995 tickets left for Thursday on SH, crazy interest.

If the Rangers had a chance to win the Cup that night, tickets will go for at least $2500 for the cheapest seats. My father was offered $3000 a seat in 1994 for game 7 and didn't take it. This is without 54 years of history to wipe out, but tickets will be going for well over two grand I'd say.

I took this picture at the Hockeyhouse of the front page of the NY Post for Game 5 of the Finals back in 94. You can see that ticket prices for that potential clincher game were "soaring up to $1,500" a piece. That price now is going to be for the obstructed blue seats if game 6 becomes the clincher game.

I can't even imagine what the prices will be for the decent seats in the upper and lower bowl. On a hunch, I purchased 4 tickets to Game 6 on Stubhub about a month and a half ago for ~$800 a piece (Lower Corner 200s). Can't believe what the prices are at after being up 2-0. It's gonna keep rising as we get closer and closer to the Cup. LGR!

1994 was a dream for scalpers. Everyone thought we were going to win it in game 5 so game 5 prices were crazy. My brother had $2k in cash with him and couldn't even find a scalper selling near the garden. Tickets were that limited. Then game 7 was even crazier so it was a double killing that year.

Longshot but any chance Stanley Cup Finals tickets will be on Ticketmaster at any point?
Obviously, looking at the ECF availabilty it'll be pretty rare I'm thinking.

yeah they will, but you're going to need to camp out with all your relatives on 3 computers each clicking "best available" like crazy people

there's still a ticket drop to come for this thursday & sunday though. yesterday they dropped balcony singles, they got all bought up and showed up on stubhub last night

Haha true. Too bad I only have 1 computer. I'm starting to think there's not going to be a drop for both Thursday and Sunday's game. One can only hope.

I was there.

My game 7 tix cost me $37-45 dollars each (I can't remember).

If there was an internet market I still wonder if I would have hit bid? NAhhhh

I know of a Wall street trader who sold 4 "red" seats to another trader ( ice level ) for games 5 & 7 as a package. The seats sold for $4000 each = $16000 for the bunch.

SCF Tix

I know nobody on here is running a charity but I am looking for Stanley Cup game 6 (home game 3) tickets.

If you have any for sale please name your number and I will vomit and then check my bank account.

Thanks! :help:

Was looking for tickets to Game 3, and randomly saw that there was a single in the 204WC section available for game 6. Hopefully won't need it, but ya never know.

Don't suppose you know what time the tickets usually drop on game days?

If the article is true and my seats for SCF are worth a minimum of $1000 then at my face of $330ish I would make over $1400 per game on the very low end, probably wayyyyy more. I still wouldn't give them up for a chance to be in the building if they won but it makes you think.... In 3 games you could pay for all of next years season tickets or at least most of them. Crazy.

this is about the only time lowers are a high value asset

Well, I just got $900 before fees for game 3 of the Finals on stubhub. $765 each after fees. Upper level corners, row 21. Face, 200. Probably left some money on the table, but not going to complain.
