I know this is totally off topic but how does someone build a brand new Arena in Brooklyn not fit for Hockey as well as basketball. I heard they could only fit about 16,000 for Hockey at the Barclays Center.

I heard 14,000 and that the area behind one net will have absolutely no fans. Imagine that, a blacked out area in the arena. It would be like the area behind the stage for a concert. LOL

Piles going from one dump to another.

Where did you get those dates from? Are they official?
Since the Kings and Hawks both have more points than the Rangers, does that mean that the Western Conference has home ice?

NBC has Games 1 and 2 of the Stanley Cup Final listed for Wednesday, June 4th and Saturday, June 7th.

Yeah, the Western Conference team would have home ice if they play us.

EDIT - Here's your preliminary SCF schedule...

According to NBC's listings, Stanley Cup Final schedule is: 6/4, 6/7, 6/9, 6/11, 6/14, 6/16, 6/18. Could change if series end early.

I'd think if it's NYR/LA we might see that switched to Game 2 being June 6th. Hard to believe there'd be a cross country flight without 2 days off, but on second thought NBC probably wants the Saturday night ratings.

That schedule is very tentative. None of the remaining teams share a building with a team still playing bball, but there are other events. Plus, if both series end early, they usually start the Cup Final early.

Quick question for you guys who use Stub Hub. I e-mailed my tickets to myself to put the PDF's up for Instant download, but the PDF's have my name on them. Do you guys have any tips to get the PDF's to not show a name, or am I worrying about something that isn't a big deal?

Thanks in advance.

why does it matter if your name is there?

if it bothers you that much then use the "transfer" option to a second email address and you can create the account under any name you want, which is what will appear on the PDF

A related question, is it possible to not show the price in the transferred pdf tickets?
There is supposedly an option when transferring and I always choose "No", but the price still shows up on the pdfs. Or maybe I am confusing the "Show price" option as something else.
Thanks!

they don't give you any options on what shows up on the ticket. The only thing you can do is transfer to an account with a different name

I did the same thing you did when I first started selling. It doesn't matter if your names on there and actually makes it safer for the buyer/stubhub IMO.

With the internet the way it is, the last thing we need to worry about is our name on some tickets. Pretty much anything is available online, anyone paying 400$ for tickets is proably the least likely to do something sketchy.

Never having used Stub Hub, I guess I just wanted to make sure there would be no repercussions with the Rangers. Then I realized they let you sell for profit on Tickets Now/Ticket Exchange. I am an a**

well, even if they allow you to resell on their system that doesn't automatically mean they're cool with you selling X games - all you have to do is look at the Devils who cancel your account for selling half the games.

But no need to worry with the Rangers, because actually under new york state law it's illegal for any team to take away any of your ticket rights for reselling any number of games from your account

Saturday June 7th a lock for a game. NBC like to have hockey on Saturday night. LA/NY could push Game 3 back to 6/10 although later in the series, there's no real room for an extra day when teams fly coast to coast.

Plus isn't the Belmont on during the day too? Sounds like NBC's lineup will be full that day...

Lulz, Rangers charge so much, they couldn't care less. All they care about is you being reliable and having a card that doesn't bounce.

NY State LAW that they can't care. Do as you please with your tickets. Was not always that way, Yanks went after some resellers, led to law.

Interesting. Any idea where it's codified?
