Kreider??? What about Poo. This powerplay only Works because Poo is deflecting every pass into goal.
Kreider continues to play a great overall game. even when he doenst score he works teh boards well and he usually elads the teams in hits most games

Michael Del Zotto is not redeemable on this team ... Seriously was hoping he would turn it around, but at this point even taking a loss in a trade would be better than suiting him up.

True, but Boyle, DMoore and Dorsett also played very well tonight. We won this game thanks to PP and Hank. They scored 2 of the ppg thanks to Poo and his play infront of the net. He made it hard for the ligthnings to defend. Thats my point :) Nothing against kreider or any other forward.

MDZ and Staal for Ehrhoff. Ive said it before and i say it again. DZ is overhyped, so trade him. Staal is just injured all the time, so trade him before he ends up like Sauer. Ehrhoff is like the Perfect D :)

You know, Richards is down the list of players that we should be ragging on, IMO. Not too far down, but there are far more disappointing players.

Mmmmm.... yeah I don't know it's a toss-up between Nash and Richards for me.

However, my comment wasn't intended as a random snipe at the guy. It was in reaction to a comment I had seen earlier. Richards can indeed put the puck in the net on (rare? infrequent? auspicious? special?) occasions and I did see him win a faceoff once or twice, so no, I have no specific bones to pick with him and his $9 million non-cap salary and NMC.

With any other goalie the Lightnings would have won. We couldnt get out of Our zone and they dominated us completly for like 15 mins.

well said........

Blows my mind that everybody on here is giving this team so much credit for winning this game. A depleted Tampa Bay team that almost came back to tie this thing multiple times. They hung on......barely.

This team still blows :laugh::laugh:

Pouliat is playing well BUT lets see if he can continue. Remember before this 7-8 games stretch of good play he was having an awful season. Guys like zucc and kreider have been consistently the best players

Hank played like Godqvist tonight and saved the game.

This is hyperbole, right? He made some key saves but the team totally picked itself up in the latter part of the third. If they kept playing the way they were going in the early third, God, Lundqvist, it wouldn't matter, couldn't have kept the Lightning from scoring.

It's a team sport.

Good game. Zuccarello was everywhere ! Guy is the new St. Louis, I don't care what anyone says, he has got that "it" factor and plays 100% every shift every game. I'm really glad he has gotten the opportunity and has thrived in an uptempo system. Also extremely surprised at his defensive game, the guy is hard on the puck.
Kreider continues to impress, pissing off opponents(think he must be a chirper) , hitting, skating hard and scoring big goals.
Girardi has looked a lot better lately , and is playing physical.
Conor Allen looks like a player.
Stepan is getting better but still frustrates me , and is sloooow. His poor skating is covered up when he's using his superior smarts and vision , but when he's off his game he is bad.
Poop has been vastly better than I could have thought. AV has definitely made some smart scratches and seems to know how to positively encourage his talented but inconsistent players. After he benched Zucc he responded with fire and has put together quite the stretch. Same with Poop.
Lundy was solid tonight and made some stellar stops.

Richards got like 70% FO Wins tonight....

Agreed; I'd at J-Moore to that list.
J. Moore is a great skater but unfortunetly he doesnt have much defensive ability. I thought this year would be big for him after a good showing last year. Well at least they can resign him cheap and maybe next year he will grow better defensively

The PP should get credit. Brassard and Zuke used their speed, Poo dominates infront of the net. MCD and Richards are playing well on the blueline. We dominated them completly on the PP and ive heard the Lightnings got a good PK???? So the PP and Hank changed the game.

Yes he made some rly good saves when the team stopped skating. The Lightning got like one shot, save, another shot, save, save and another save. I mean my heart stopped for like 10 times or so. So I believe Hank should get alot of credit. Its not about his stats, but about how many times he robbed the Lightnings. Hanks best game this season imo. Remember that the Lightnings often are best in the Third-

Agree. The kid has alot of potensial and no trading value. His contract is Perfect, so he is a guy for the future. MDZ on the other hand is overpayed, overhyped and has trading value. So MDZ for Methot or some1 else?

I just get the feeling that it goes beyond ability; it's about instinct. I don't mind cutting JM a bit more slack, because he also has good size and a shot better than DZ's, but patience isn't infinite.

Yes. We may lose a trade with DZ in it at this point but his value and play will only continue to plummet here. A change of scenery could save and transform his career but his confidence is shattered and he's not going to get it back in NY.
