Rangers Let Go of Head Athletic Trainer Jim Ramsay

This seems pretty stupid as he’s been one of the best in the league for a long time.
By what measure has he been "one of the best in business"? Because Sam and Joe say so?

Look, Ramsay's been with the organization for 3 decades so clearly previous regimes were at the very least satisfied with his work, but I don't know how you can classify this move as 'stupid' when you have no idea what went into the decision to dismiss him.

Probably because of man games lost over seasons. And while that may attribute to a larger group other than just Ramsay but it would be foolish to think he didn’t have much say in It. How about a more in depth look. Because on the surface this looks pretty f***ing stupid.

Scorching take, coming in hot but…..

Sam should get a job in the org wherever he wants, but as far as the play by play goes his time is coming too. Joe, I couldn’t care less one way or the other.

No social media send off or press release from the organization acknowledging Rammer's nearly 30 years of service doesn't pass the smell test to me.
Yea, that's pretty odd. He's also still listed on NYR.com, they usually are pretty quick to remove names. Maybe Staple was wrong, I havent seen anyone else report it.

My only theory is that Drury is scapegoating Ramsay for clearing Patrick Kane for trade. We all asked, "how the hell did Kane receive medical clearance for this trade??"

Drury found out Rammer was Brooksie’s source all along.

wait I think I know. I think if I remember correctly Ramsay advises players to play through injury/pain and return to playing as soon as possible which hurts their performance and reaggravates it or makes it worse.

Weren't Rangers the team this season that had fewest games lost to injury?

To everyone saying this is fine and questioning peoples' "overreactions"

They FIRED the longest tenured guy in the organization without saying a word. If this was merely a retirement or planned "moving on," they obviously would've acknowledged it at the end of the season somehow, the fans loved him. At the very least, the social media team would've posted something about it the past couple days to thank him.

We may never know what exactly it is, but there is absolutely a dramatic story here. You're insane to think not.
