I think players lose TONS of respect when "x" player ""fraternizes" with opposing players. Any fan of whatever team is SUPPORTING their team with their money and wanting nothing less than a good ass whooping of opponent.
So, when player "x" does this on ice, (for me) it constitutes friendship, and regardless if that is true or not......you're trying to win a game, (and like said above) try and KILL them, not make plans for a beer later. Just looks bad, never liked it, never will.

When management and our clueless coach allow Kreider and Zibanejad to be our leaders WE ARE SCREWED! Kreider may be the least effective and physical player in the entire NHL for the physical gifts and strength he possesses. BUT ITS NY AND HES WELL SPOKEN AND POLITE! Zibanejad is Uber talented but as soft as they come.
Horrible role models for guys like Kakko and Laf to look up to. Then we get rid of ADA because he’s loud and inappropriate!
Management has to decide. Do they want to win or be the NHL classiest team and a laughingstock just like our city!

Honestly this is more of a coaching problem first and foremost. Everything starts behind the bench, I really like DQ but for some reason he's not getting through

I 100 % agree with the OP
getting rid of ADA is idiotic and only hurts the team.

Messier was the meanest SOB in the league for a long time and constantly provoked fights and arguments in the locker room...ADA does not have the resume of messier but you need guys like ADA
little Georgie got his feelings hurt and lashed out at Tony...so why does ADA get banished, Georgie threw the first punch ...makes no sense. I had high hopes for this team but this rebuild is going into the dumpster...you can't win with a bunch of creampuffs on this team.

also when tony took the unsportsmanlike penalty on opening night which caused him to be scratched the next 2 games, the score was already 4-0
taking that penalty did not hurt the team, we were already losing 4-0 at that point.

Quinn scratched him for non sense which caused this whole mess to unfold...Quinn should of never scratched him, it was not worthy of a scratch for 2 games.
players need to show some emotion and fire which this team sorely lacks

If you STILL don't understand why DeAngelo needed to be removed from the locker room, not sure of what to tell you.

And you really did not just compare Messier in the locker room to DeAngelo in the locker room? Of all of the things that I have seen on the board lately......

Mouthing of to a ref is pretty stupid. Childishly slamming the door after and getting another 2 is doubly so.
