Yeah, a goalie you could pretty much count on to be top of the league for a decade is pretty rare. most of them have highs and lows and injuries and what not, but Lundqvist was just the rock the Rangers needed in net for most of his time in NY

Let’s remember, the schedule maker was not kind to the Rangers. So far, 6 of 9 on the road and three more to come. 6-2-1 through the first nine is pretty damn good. Get through this week with some measure of success and then the schedule starts to turn in the Rangers favor.

Looking at it more granularly he was good at righting the ship. He'd have some really bad starts but would in the end have his typical stats.

Agreed. I’ve been a big time Trouba detractor but he’s been great this season.

Honestly amazed at the results so far given the poor play we’re getting out of pretty much all of our top end forwards.

This team is on a Canadiens like playoff run to start the season. Can it last 8 more months?

Trouba and Miller have been so much better this season, which is great to see.

Sad thing is last years locker room needed his presence more than this years.
