Have to say I'm not as surprised by crap officiating as some seem to be. It goes on all season long--so why should it end for the playoffs? The two ref system isn't any better really than the one ref system. And the more of them there are the more they get in the way.

The way the officiating was this year, yes, I am not shocked. Like I said, it's not the reason they lost, (although, yeah, maybe having the Kings on the PK might have changed the outcome), it's just salt in the wound.

Because that's basically what the NHL does after every miss call - make some BS excuse as to why it was the right call.

No, they bury 4 and they win. All the ref has to do is his job that he's paid to do: make proper calls.

I agree. But in games like this it's beyond anyone's control. Unfortunately, 4 wasn't enough to win with the ******** non-call and subsequent goal.

From what I've seen so far we've been a much better team than LA..I mean look at their 8 goals.

1. Stepan AWFUL decision and turnover in game 1
2. Girardi AWFUL turnover in game 1
3. Richards AWFUL turnover in game 2
4. No interference call
5. No icing call
6. No delay of game call

So 3 directly from refs. 3 mainly from horrendous decision making by us that had little to do with them as in any team we faced would have scored on those. So yea those are bad plays we made but they are not typical plays we make.

The Canucks always seemed to get the short end of the stick from him. Pretty sad state of affairs that that's the caliber of ref that gets put in the biggest games of the year.
