The Rangers simply are not good enough up the middle to win this series. The are not good up the middle offensively or defensively.

You have to buy out Richards. You have to make a decision between Step/Nash on who you want to build around on that line.

Its the SAME *******s throwing the puck up the middle causing turnovers. They need to skate the puck up and they don't cause they're lazy and expect the other team to not pressure

Tortorella caught a lot of flack for benching Richards. He has been ****. He deserved to bench then and deserves it NOW.

He deserves it more now than he did last year. Last year, a lot of us were caught by surprise when he was scratched. Now I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn't think that Beaver should be shot off to Jupiter.

Forget the refs for a second since we all know they were absolutely ********.

If the Rangers can actually bury a ****ing chance for once, this wouldn't be happening. Just like game 1, they had over a handful of open nets that they can't score on for who knows what ****ing reason. You know what would be nice, if Nash remembers he's a damn goal scorer and maybe, just maybe, score a ****ing goal. And Richards... just benches himself.

I know these losses sting...a lot. Normally, I'd be irate and irrational right now. Even though that third goal shouldn't have counted, I don't know if I can honestly say that was a game that the refs "took away" from us. The refs didn't cause McDonagh to make a brain dead play on the Gaborik goal, and the refs didn't cause us to give up several goals from the points and on tips.

All of that being said, and despite being down 2-0, I am still surprisingly optimistic. We've come out and proven that we can hang with these guys, if not out perform them. We need to stop beating ourselves, and we need to get back to managing the puck. Have to give LA credit, though. Their board work and forecheck are scary...but the Rangers are good enough to win this series. And they will. This team has proven me wrong too many times for me to turn on them now.

You think the refs were fine and you're a Richards supporter. ENuff said.

I never said the refs were fine, but a championship team gets past it.

And yes Richards has had 2 horrible games here. You want a medal for pointing that out?

Pretty much.

Poor reffing never changes, champions overcome the ******** and find ways to win. Twice now they let LA back in the game.

They have no one to blame but themselves. ****ing weak.

No. They scored 4 goals in regulation. The Kings scored 3.

They do have somebody to blame.

This isn't a missed hook or a missed high stick. This is a ****ing goaltender interference call where the ****ing guy was laying on our ****ing goaltender. And then they miss the over the glass clear when even Pierre ****ing Mac said how obvious it was it went over.

The referees cost the Rangers this W. Plain and simple.

blaming the refs does nothing but make us look like losers...f that noise...this loss hurts but its who wins 4 first,...we had plenty of chances to get the 5th goal and we didnt

I said it before.

We won this game 4-2.

Everything that happened after the goaltender interference non-call should have never happened.

LMAO at anybody crying over the team itself, too.

We're not strong enough up the middle? The D sucks?

You're all ****ing out of it. We outplayed the Kings all game and the referees handed it to them. It really is that simple. Wake up.

Pretty much. What was the corsi stats this game? Felt like the Rangers dominated possession.

There's literally nothing you can do when the refs act like that.

1) Gave King(s) a goal
2) Called Zucc on a penalty when literally 2 seconds earlier there was an as blatant if not more blatant call on him
3) missed a call literally 2 seconds prior to the game winning goal.

Just an absolute embarrassment. The fact that these losers are reffing the whole series is even worse. But it doesn't matter, because they're all awful.

1 Ref on the ice to handle face-offs. The rest have views from the seats. That's how it should be. Enough with them blocking pucks and interfering with players. It's every single game and it's ruining the sport.

For all the casual fans they are trying to reach with this massive market SCF matchup, what do you think they're going to see in this? It's a joke.

And can we please get rid of hybrid icing this rule is a complete joke and screws us time and time again just go back to the way it was.

This is really incredible two games now we outplay this team which really seems like nothing better than anyone else we played (excluding 3rd period game 1 of course) and then in this game we get

3rd goal - no intereference
4th goal - because the ref ****ed up the icing call because they don't understand hybrid icing
5th goal - because the ref ****ed up the delay of game on a BLACK AND WHITE CALL THAT IS NOT SUBJECTIVE IN THE LEAST

refs don't even huddle and discuss the delay of game. its THE STANLEY CUP FINALS and they do't even ****ing discuss it. that linesman was probably too busy setting a pick to see the play.

He deserves it more now than he did last year. Last year, a lot of us were caught by surprise when he was scratched. Now I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn't think that Beaver should be shot off to Jupiter.

Hmmm I remember a lot of people here not minding it at all. Richards was playing horribly.

And he is playing horribly again. I can't wait till he is bought out. He is helping the Kings more than his own ****ing team.

All of that being said, and despite being down 2-0, I am still surprisingly optimistic. We've come out and proven that we can hang with these guys, if not out perform them. I get this and I really like your line of thinking, but it's an absolute killer to lose both games that we very well could have won. ESPECIALLY this one. I'm not counting them out just yet but to say I am crushed is the understatement of the year.

This is the real problem with this team.

And it is NOT going away.

I mean I am disappointed, but I can't get mad. The flaws of this team were apparent all the way through the playoffs. Rangers just got the right match ups and had the right emotional catalyst to overachieve this year.

Nobody thought this team would be the finals. But, it worked out that way. Maybe Chicago could have been a bit of a better matchup because they lacked size to punish our D.

But it didn't go that way. The good news is that the Rangers are getting a very hard look as to what their flaws are.

Rangers lost because of dumb turnovers in their own zone, just like they lost the first game for dumb turnovers in their zone. Sure, the non call in the third, the missed delay of game call in 2OT ****ed them over, but they ****ed themselves over significantly more.

I may very well be done with hockey after this. It's becoming a mockery. I just can't have the same love for the game that I have had all my life.

I'm not done. I likely never will be. But it's games like tonight that enabled me to (almost) completely disengage my emotion from the outcome. There is so much nonsense and **** that's just plain out of everyone's control that impacts the end result of these games. It's really, really not worth the emotional investment.

Look I know people are pissed, not trying to troll, but the Rangers also caught breaks in OT.

Williams' penalty was definitely embellished by Nash, and Stepan got away with a blatant uncalled high stick on M Richards in 2OT.

I never said the refs were fine, but a championship team gets past it.

And yes Richards has had 2 horrible games here. You want a medal for pointing that out?

He was also horrible last series.....

You're blaming Hank for this loss. Again, enough said.

Yes. Have it like they have it in the olympics or go back to how they had it. There is too much ambiguity the way it is now.

The refs are not using common sense at all. If the lead guy is a foot in front at the hashmarks, they'll whistle it even if the guy who's behind is gaining and ready to pass the defensive player. He would definitely get to the puck first.

The Rangers buried four chances.

Then bury 5 and win. Obviously 4 wasn't enough just like 2 wasn't enough in Game 1. They can never put a game away. It's always the same story.

Regardless, how is that delay of game not called. It's not even discretionary. It's black and white and the linesman was in perfect view of seeing it not hit the glass.
