6 of 8 periods? And the 2 periods we were outplayed were the 2 MOST IMPORTANT PERIODS.

We deserve to be down 2 games to none. When you blow four yes FOUR 2 goal leads in the Stanley cup finals, you don't deserve to win anything. A disgrace.

One bad call doesn't erase the disgusting turnovers we have had up by 2 goals. Nor does it excuse the fact that NOONE STEPPED UP in either overtime despite the fact L.A. looked tired and gassed. NOONE could come up with a timely goal.

If the Rangers are truly the better team, they will find a way to overcome this 2 game deficit and win the series. Somehow, I don't see that happening. Not when you blow four 2 goal leads in the most important games of your hockey life.

We shat the bed on the biggest stage of them all, lets call it like it is. I am already focused on the off season moves at this point. The one positive from all of this Brad Richards being absolute horse ***** in these finals, making the decision to let him go very, very easy for Glen. I never want to see him on another Rangers power play as long as I live.

We lost. Take it like a man. Blaming the refs only makes it hurt worse. Own up to the fact that OUR TEAM HAS CHOKED so far in these finals. Big time.

Our team has hung with a team that everyone said was going to steamroll us and they have played admirably sans the third period of game one. They didn't get "outplayed' in either OT just because the Kings scored.

Take it like a man? Dumb. Your reaction to hockey games has nothing to do with your manhood tbh.

Man. That was frustrating. Worst loss I've ever seen by a team I've rooted for. This passes Devils game 6, Yankees in 01 and MSU running into the punter in the Big Ten Title game. I just can't see how the refs missed that call and then to top it off miss a delay of game. For the people who say well we still had our chances etc.... That's great. We are all acknowledging that but at the same time, it shouldn't have mattered considering the refs gifted them this game.

I don't think this series is over. We've been the better team. Take game 3 and we got ourselves a real good chance.

If I knew this is the way the series would go, I'd have much rather lost in the 1st round. **** this game, and **** Dan O'Fatso. Honestly, he should be given the Fraser treatment like the Maple Leafs did. Starting from game 3...

Yo McDonagh is frikin amazing.

I hope you guys make a comeback and bury the Kings in their own game. Cheerin for ya'll big time.

**** the refs for trying to decide the winner, easily should have won game 2.

Sens-Rangers alliance, baby.

They scored in both OT's. We didn't.

In my opinion, the series is now over. We are not coming back from this against a team that knows how to win cups. We needed a split in L.A. and we didn't get it because we just couldn't play defense when it counted most.

It sucks. I feel let down by the players, I expected better from them. We all knew L.A. wasn't going to "steamroll" us, so don't pretend the Rangers deserve any type of credit just because they haven't been blown out.

I expected more from this group. I just can't believe they let another game with multiple 2 goal leads slip away. It's unbelievable. All the hard work to get here...just to witness this krap? Wow, such a shame. I expected so much more.

I guess we just have to say "it's been a great ride" and accept it. It sure is hard to win the cup. That's for sure. I'm just really sad right now. :(

Unfortunately, you can thank Dan O'Fatso for ruining the Rangers dream before it even started.

This should be a tied series right now.

There is a difference between knowing and hoping. None of us knew anything, we all hoped LA wouldn't steamroll us. They won't, this series isn't over until we've lost our 4th game or have won our 4th game. If this is how you feel then by all means please go enjoy your off season instead of trying to tell people who disagree with your pessimistic outlook that they are wrong.

Out if those two periods we were outplayed in game one by the kings and in game two by the refs! Pointing that out doesn't make me less of a man, you ignoring it makes you blind.

Thaks Babs! He fails to realize that the kings last two goals were DIRECT results of ****** officiating!

Look dude I'm too depressed to argue with you lol. I'm so bummed that we had four 2 goal leads and have NOTHING to show for it. I understand we got screwed, and it sucks. But man...FOUR 2 goal leads? One bad call doesn't change the fact that we HAVE to do a better job protecting the lead when we get it.

We went up 1-0 against Montreal and then just shut them down in Game 6. This defense is capable of so much more than they have shown, I just can't believe with all the vets on this team that something like this could happen.

I agree we got screwed by the refs. It's typical Rangers luck, or lack thereof. But we gotta find a way to protect leads better.

I think it's in their heads that "L.A. just always finds a way to come back" now, because the stupid media keeps hyping that bullsh*t up. I think the Kings are in the Rangers heads now when they have a lead.

I'm not sure how we can overcome this. :(

Guys just agree with me that the 3rd kings goal was a home call. Goal is disallowed if they are at MSG

/\ This

I'm upset at the ref not calling interference as well, but we lost our composure after that. We were still in the lead. We haven't blown two 2 goal leads, we have blown FOUR 2 goal leads.

So upsetting, because when we were watching the Kings/Blackhawks we all were saying "man these teams can't play defense!" and then we play exactly the same way.

Our defense has really let us down in this series, and will probably cost us the cup. You CANNOT blow a 4-2 lead in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals going into the 3rd period, you simply just cannot do it.

I blame everyone, a total team collapse. I don't want to hear about ****ing L.A. being so resilient either. WE ****ING BLEW IT.

We were supposed to show the hockey world how good our defense was, and we have failed miserably. L.A. is not losing 4 out of the next 5.

What is going to suck the most is watching Gaborik skate around with the cup. But it's all good, because I love Brassard and I'd rather have him anyway than Gaborik. But it's still going to hurt. I still remember Gaborik's triple OT winner against the Caps 2 years ago, and it hurts that he's on the other side now, in the finals, and scoring against us. Oh well.

I'm proud the team made it this far. It just sucks that everything had to go wrong for us in the finals. I guess it wasn't meant to be, the hockey God's are not in our corner this year guys. It is what it is.

What can you say? Tip your cap to L.A. 2 cups in 3 years is a great achievement. No shame in losing to a team like that. NO shame at all.

It hurst though, because it's gonna be a long time before we get back here. Lundqvist won't be around anymore. But hey, it was a heck of a ride.

The series is not over. Write it off you want, but I am not.

I think we may put up a fight. But I don't have any faith that this team can beat LA in a seven game series with Stepan/Richards as our centers.

The mismatch of centers between LA's centers and ours is just too great.

Surprisingly, Boyle has been our most consistent center in the playoffs. I can't say anything bad about him.

You're right, I'm sorry. The thing is, right now writing off the series is actually comforting to me. I don't want to think the Rangers are still in it, because it makes this loss hurt so much more.

I'm a huge Rangers fan. I hope we can pull off a 2011 Boston, or a 2009 Penguins. But right now, I'm having a hard time seeing it. Not because we are down 2-0 but because of HOW we are down 2-0, by blowing four 2 goal leads.

Maybe the team can overcome that, but I don't see how something like that can't get into their heads at this point. I'm devastated.

I guess if we take Game 3, and Game 4, it might put some pressure on L.A. I don't know.

So sad that everything has gone wrong for us in our first finals appearance in 20 years. I just feel numb.

I think you may need a little bit of perspective. For me, ever since the Rangers made the conference finals; this team has been playing with house money.

Yeah, I'm disappointed if we don't win the cup. But I'm not mad. I never thought this was the Rangers year. We went into a season that had the team in transition. We have plenty of holes. But AV did a fantastic job elevating Sather's team of bandaids and patch work players.

This gives me confidence for what is here when I don't think management has given us the best roster as of yet.

I mean we don't have a #1 center on this team. We don't have a dynamic offensive D man. Yet, we are in the SCF.

And what if the Rangers never come back to the SCF for a long time?

Easy to say we just need a few moves here and there, but it's never that easy. Other teams also improve.

Yeah, but LA, Boston, Pitt, Chicago, Detroit have all made multiple appearances in recent years. If the Rangers can't get back to the finals with this foundation; thats managements fault.

We all knew the flaws as these games have unfolded. We saw them all the way back in the philly series.

I had to go to bed after the 2nd because I had to get up early this morning for a 12 hour shift. I just saw that 3rd goal. wtf. It is absolutely mind boggling that goal was allowed, especially after Pouliout's penalty for less in the 2nd and I haven't even seen the delay of game non-call yet.

**** this league.

Thank god I'm a Yankees fan at least. Being a Rangers, Jets and Knicks fan over the years has taken a toll. Being a Mets fan on top of it? Don't even want to think about it..

Cheated. Just straight up cheated.
People will say "but thats not the goal that cost us" and all this non sense but it really was. Its what got everyone irate. it's what gave them any life at all. Not to mention that absolute BLATANT penalties they refused to call (the goal, the delay of game especially) Theres absolutely no excuse when the camera show the ref looking DIRECTLY at that play. If you are legally blind i think you are in the wrong profession, ref.

It sucks that this amazing season looks more and more like it will end in heartbreak due to this league's bull****. Not to say i'm giving up or anything but it's hard to stay positive after all this.

Shoot me...now. :shakehead
