I wish refs had some sort of accountability.. Why don't they? Never understood that.

Here is the problem........none of this matters. Tomorrow morning when everyone wakes up the Rangers will be down 0-2. 5 years from now nobody will recall the BS reffing, or the fact that LA won 2 games without ever leading them. They will remember who won and who lost. The Tangers will remember the opportunity they squandered when 6 years go by and they have not made it back to the finals. That's about it.

Yep. If the Rangers lose this series, the only ones who will ever remember why are us.

And believe me, if they lose this series, tonight will haunt me more than Drury or Henrique ever could.

I really don't give a **** about the refs.

The fact of the matter is it's the Stanley Cup Finals and we've let 2 2-goal leads slip from our fingers.

****ing disgraceful.

I would imagine they do, but it's just not visible to the fans. The NHL seems to care more about official positioning than about the quality of calls.

Refs have been fired from the NHL before, but it's not as common of an occurrence as it used to be.

Agreed. The game went to OT and we had chances that we couldn't finish. The refs non-call made it 4-3, not 4-4. We gave up the last two, not the refs.

Btw. Get Rick Nash out of here. Now. Please. So done with him.

If O'Halleran said that he did not call goaltender interference because the puck was already past Henrik......that shows how completely clueless he is.

You should give a ****. Because Dan O'Halloran is the reason why the entire game turned around. It's about momentum. That changed everything.

3rd goal was an absolutely brutal call. Theres no need to call a penalty, but you call it incidental contact and move the faceoff outside. That being said, you move onto game 3 and work your backside off for 60 (or more) minutes.

LGR!

“@RothmanHockey: Martin Biron on NHL Network: "It's an absolute blown call. ... Lundqvist has got to have the ability to make a save in his crease."”

Really? Because I remember the refs BLATANTLY missing an AUTOMATIC penalty just seconds before the last one. So yes, the refs gave that goal up.

People aren't taking this into account.

That horrendous blown call completely changed the whole complexion of the game.

I still cannot figure it out. Pouliot's call was a penalty, but not Dwight King's???

I'm still livid over this. Terrible terrible no call. Guaranteed if that happens at MSG it's no goal. Was a home call in my opinion.

Is it just me or are most kings fans just a bunch of pompous ass holes? Must be nice to live on mommy and daddy's dime in the OC and say **** the rangers and their fans.

The next game is ours. Book it.

/\ This

I'm upset at the ref not calling interference as well, but we lost our composure after that. We were still in the lead. We haven't blown two 2 goal leads, we have blown FOUR 2 goal leads.

So upsetting, because when we were watching the Kings/Blackhawks we all were saying "man these teams can't play defense!" and then we play exactly the same way.

Our defense has really let us down in this series, and will probably cost us the cup. You CANNOT blow a 4-2 lead in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals going into the 3rd period, you simply just cannot do it.

I blame everyone, a total team collapse. I don't want to hear about ****ing L.A. being so resilient either. WE ****ING BLEW IT.

We were supposed to show the hockey world how good our defense was, and we have failed miserably. L.A. is not losing 4 out of the next 5.

What is going to suck the most is watching Gaborik skate around with the cup. But it's all good, because I love Brassard and I'd rather have him anyway than Gaborik. But it's still going to hurt. I still remember Gaborik's triple OT winner against the Caps 2 years ago, and it hurts that he's on the other side now, in the finals, and scoring against us. Oh well.

I'm proud the team made it this far. It just sucks that everything had to go wrong for us in the finals. I guess it wasn't meant to be, the hockey God's are not in our corner this year guys. It is what it is.

What can you say? Tip your cap to L.A. 2 cups in 3 years is a great achievement. No shame in losing to a team like that. NO shame at all.

It hurst though, because it's gonna be a long time before we get back here. Lundqvist won't be around anymore. But hey, it was a heck of a ride.

"We let two two goal leads slip through our fingers" as the LA Kings score 3 legal regulation goals to our 4.

O'Halloran's call cost us the game. It's really as simple as that.

Win Game 3.
