Something has to be done about the officiating. I would be mad if we lost legitimately but not as mad as I am because we lost this way. It's a complete joke that they can have such a major influence on the game and nothing has been to correct it.

I've often wondered if teams that wear black jerseys or pants get faster whistles because it's easier to lose the puck.

What probably sickens me most in addition to the refs is that we have outplayed the Kings in every period but 2 and are losing in this series 2-0. What a joke. We should be up 2-0.
BTW, the main board is a joke, people are saying McDonagh got away with a push. If that's a push we should just get rid of D-men and let everyone go to the net without being touched. What was McDonagh supposed to do there?

I worry about this, simply because the rest of the east will be better next year.
The Islanders will be better, guaranteed. The Capitals will most likely be better under Trotz. The Penguins will probably be better with a new coach. Montreal is on the up swing, Philly will be better, Toronto will probably be better, Tampa will be better. Bruins will remain elite.

Absolutely right! The Kings haven't lead in any of the games so far, the Rangers have. We aren't getting smoked like all the experts thought would happen. We deserve to be up or tied in the series. I expect big things when we go home for the next 2. This team will regroup and not let this get them down. No way will that happen.
