I'm pretty sure AV is holding back what he REALLY wants to say. Sometimes, I wonder how he always maintains his calm demeanor. I'm generally a calm guy like him in real life, but I would have lost my **** tonight.

Chances like this don't come around very often. Philly made the finals in '10 and had a decently young team. They haven't even been close since. Vancouver looked to be a future dynasty in '11 and now they're on the verge of rebuilding. The '12 Devils don't need any explaining.

Pretty much any statement about the accuracy of the call other than what he said would be a fine or a suspension. I'm fine with just saying "ask the NHL." No need for this to be more of a sideshow than it is.

To me, that's a very intelligent way of completely degrading the refs without drawing a fine or suspension.

Not fired, but I actually agree with you.

A horrendous call like that completely changed the game and the series. What's sad is it will just be swept under the rug like you said.

There's a lot of hockey left and this team already showed resilience. I still believe they're going to even up this series at home. And then it's anybody's series.

If there was one thing that had me smile a little bit tonight, it was when a Devils fan came and posted in the GDT, and actually was a human being, and mourned with us... It's moments like this I wish i could remember when we play our neighbors >_> but nope.

That its a BS call. Then because the head coach says it, its on the replays. Then more people see it. The more people see it, the more they see its BS and say so. The more they say so the more they question the NHL. The more they question the NHL, the less they go to NHL games. The more that happens, the more the NHL realizes it has a problem. Thats the only way its going to change.

I know that no one probably wants to hear it at this moment and that the light at the end of the tunnel appears fading but (to channel my inner BrianBoyle) we are not dead yet. As awful and gross and terrible and [insert adjective here] everything has been, we are "only" down 2-0.

Not an easy task but not impossible. I really hope they use this as fuel for the next few games.
