I'm not watching the game, but my question is how can a team who had (according to their coach) their worst game of the year, have a day off, and come back with what looks like another game where they were not giving 100pct?

It seems like every time the Rangers play a team coming off a bad loss, they play their best game of the season.

This game wasn't an effort problem. It was a systemic one. Tort's system was working against him the whole game and he made no adjustments..

I would be pretty frustrated if I was a player...

He's ready but Kreider isn't? Miller belongs with the Whale and it was a mistake keeping him up here. Now, it's too late. We burned a year so we might as well keep him up here.

Richards is lost
Nash is great at times and looks like he is frustrated at other times with no help
Hags is great at being 3 line energy guy but not a pure go to goal scorer
Gabbys is not the gabby of before the injury
Cally is someone special
Stephan is talented kid with a great future
Pyatt SUCKS A$$
Boyle is a loser soft piece of garbage
Hank is a guy i am not a huge fan of but he is over worked not helped and deserves better

the D is solid 1-4 when healthy but Del Zotto Sucks
