They didn't lose the team because of poor attendance, they got someone to build them a new building and they left...it was a fashionable move in the 90s

A struggling team is one thing. A coach that's clearly ran his course on a team that will benefit from offensive systems is another thing.
 
It's like Torts or someone in the locker room is sucking all the life out of our top players.

also: this is a bad hockey team. buffalo was bad. winnipeg is bad. we're bad. we have no apparent strategy. we chase pucks and decide what to do after we get them. there's no identity. no concept. just play as it goes. zero flow to our game. last season our identity was blocking shots and controlling physicality-- grinding wins out defensively.

this season, we've got miller, nash, and del zotto stickhandling into the other team's feet. people skating the puck halfway in and dumping it with no pressure. people passing directly into defensemen's feet, screening our own goalie, no crease clearing, random callahan deflections, no puck control. this team shows complete lack of a system. that's on the coaching staff. tort's job is on the line. he'd better figure something out or he's gone this spring.

Agree to an extent. I don't think it's the fact that there isn't a system in place. Torts has the WRONG system in place for the players on the ice and I believe that is what contributes to the clueless play.
 
We could pick a fan out of the crowd at an away game and he would be better than Torts right now for this team.
 
Hamr got 6 minutes tonight, when is he waived? Is he not in shape or just old and not good anymore?

Team needs Staal back very soon.
 
We need to shake this team up. We need depth and that "JAM" that Torts talks about so much. I think we should get rid of Boyle. He's a ******* piece of garbage that should be out of the NHL. I'm disgusted. Going into this season, I thought we were gonna win the cup. Now, I don't even know if we'll make the playoffs. It sucks :cry:
 
Sather should enact a policy where a player will be fined if they play golf in the off-season.

Want to work on your shot? Do it at the rink, not the ****ing golf course.
 
Guys, get off that pipe dream. No one is trading for Richards, he's not going anywhere until June 2014 when Sather buys him out.
