We have 10 goals from the defense in 26 games.

And Tortorella's lineups make no sense. Will we ever have competent offense?

To me this is the biggest problem, half of our offense players pose literally ZERO threat to score.

This team can't afford to wait until the deadline to make a move. I don't what or how but this roster needs a shakeup. Needs a spark plug of any kind. Problem is everyone's in the playoff hunt.

when a player is apparently hurt: you do not boo. you do not cheer. you do not taunt them. no excuse. completely classless move by their fan-base. no respect at all. absolutely ****ing despicable.

also: this is a bad hockey team. buffalo was bad. winnipeg is bad. we're bad. we have no apparent strategy. we chase pucks and decide what to do after we get them. there's no identity. no concept. just play as it goes. zero flow to our game. last season our identity was blocking shots and controlling physicality-- grinding wins out defensively.

this season, we've got miller, nash, and del zotto stickhandling into the other team's feet. people skating the puck halfway in and dumping it with no pressure. people passing directly into defensemen's feet, screening our own goalie, no crease clearing, random callahan deflections, no puck control. this team shows complete lack of a system. that's on the coaching staff. tort's job is on the line. he'd better figure something out or he's gone this spring.

Offense was horrid in the 3rd. All they knew how to do was give the puck back.

No Ruff at all cost the game has passed him by.. Torts sucks and needs to go but he is far better for us then Ruff. Is there a single line that makes you feel like that can score at any time on this team?

Maybe so, the game may have passed Ruff by, but I at least think he knows when to LET THE PLAYERS PLAY. Torts has turned this into a mess.

Bottom 6 are seeing too much ice time early in the game. God I think Torts cycled all 4 lines for the first 30 minutes of the game, that's what it seemed like. Get the goal scorers on the ice and get a fu**ing lead

I know Torts' system doesn't suit the team, but there's only so much you can put on him.

At the end of the day, once our top 2 lines have the puck in the other zone it doesn't matter what system they're playing, they need to be creative and make plays. They're simply not doing that.


I'm so angry. It's one thing to lose, but to lose playing like this 2 straight games... it sucks.
