I do think we desperately need a legit back up at the deadline if we can find one.

I don't think Gauthier is the guy they need to improve on, as much as I like him Dryden Hunt should not be a top 6 player on a playoff team. That's a major hole.

I think this is the perfect summation.

he clearly has the skills but seems afraid to use them most of the time.

When he is feeling it, you can tell. He takes his ice, and doesn't wait for it to be given to him.

The rest of the time, he is a complete non factor. Sadly, thats most of the time
