Wasn’t a horrible game, but wasn’t great either. Glad they pulled out the W.

Love the team toughness. Fox and Laf both going after Pageau was amazing.

This is the kinda game you’re gonna get when they have 2 NHL defenseman. They packed it in, didn’t take chances, and mucked it for most of the game. The constant special teams play didn’t help build a flow either.

Like you said, still got a W. Not going to be pretty every time!

Wasn't pretty (and there seemed to be fair bit of 'game management' going on), but we won a game we absolutely should have won, which is always nice. They don't all have to be masterpieces...
4th line was brilliant, CK is on a hell of a hot streak and it was great to see guys like Fox and Laf really buy-in to the team first mentality when it came to standing up for each other
