Oh, and when we have stiffs like Boyle and Bickel playing, why don't they bring Kreider back up until Richards returns, or even, when he returns, move Miller to 3rd line center with Kreider and Pyatt and drop Boyle or Bickel to the press box?

Technically I think he can but the player goes off for him

Yeah, if they get an unsportsmanlike during the game, a player can to the box for 2 minutes for it.

But this was pretty Pejorative Slured. They ejected the coach AFTER the game's over. Unless that comes with a suspension for the next game, it's totally meaningless.

Nash would be on pace for a 90 point season if he was playing 82 games.

Which would be the best season for a Ranger scorer since Jagr in 2006.

Bickel didn't do anything wrong...it's just that he can't do anything out there. He doesn't really lay the body despite being huge, he can't skate, and he's arguably the worst offensive player in the NHL. He doesn't even fight a lot, which is his job.

Didn't like him, but Mashinter was better. And Mashinter wasn't even good.

Eh, Bickel was OK other than I thought he was about to draw a penalty by starting a fight after the Rangers got their first PP

He doesn't really do much as a forward, but with the team hurting for depth a bit with Richards and Asham out, whatever.

Gaborik needs to use his slapshot more, he has a good one. His wrist shot hasn't been working this year so use the slapper

Just got home from the game.

That was an ugly win but I'll take it. We looked like **** out there first half of the game, barely any energy at all. If it weren't for Hank they would've had about 5 goals.

I'm starting to get tired of Torts playing his boy toys Bickel and Boyle.

I say I deserve an honorary star for wearing my Gabby jersey to the game (which obviously was a good omen) and putting up with all the drunks in the 300s.

Matteau! Matteau! Matteau!

Howie made that call for people who don't know.

Howie is a great announcer. Goring is terrible but I don't mind watching Islanders broadcasts because Howie is really good. Huge Rangers fan too, he'll likely take the reins when Sam retires.

Halpern deserves more ice time than Boyle based on skating ability alone. Halps played a good game, drew two penalties with only 6 minutes of ice time.

Bickel is here for one reason and one reason only. Because he can fight and hold his own with big guys. Asham is not in the lineup and not that big, and either is Haley.

Personally, I would rather see Mashinter here over Bickel. He can skate better, has more skill, and can throw down with the big boys.

I want Ferriero back, I don't even know why they sent him down in the first place. He was like a less talented Hagelin out there.

Hank gave the Rangers fans in the building a shout out on Twitter after the game, nice and loud boys :yo:.

Halpern has played a ton better than Boyle has this season, no way he should be getting 10 less minutes per game than Boyle. smfh

how anyone can complain about bickel tonight is foolish. The 4th line drew 2 penalites and played very well in there own zone. Bickel was just fine.

You mean Halpern drew two penalties. I agree that you need a tough guy in the lineup that can drop the gloves but Bickel is not an NHL caliber hockey player. Asham/Haley are 10x better than Bickel and will drop em if needed.
