A lot of fans wanted the guy from the Caps hired and or Brunette. Those are the 2 I read that lots of fans wanted.

That just shows how bad Drury is. He should interview as many coaches as he can then decide what candidates deserve a 2ed interview so he can try to find the right coach for this team. That makes no sense.

The guy running the search should interview the guys he thinks are candidates…because HF members are high on guys and he doesn’t interview doesn’t make him an idiot, makes him in charge.

But wouldn’t it make sense to get a feeling on who is a candidate and who is not while actually interviewing them. You can’t just assume a guy is a good candidate based on the guy’s past success with other teams and or guys past as a coach regardless good or bad.

You don’t think after a lifetime in hockey he doesn’t have an idea of who he wants to interview? Just let it play out….if he hires his buddy Hynes I’ll be as upset as the next guy but I don’t see the point in going crazy over every little rumor or interview or not interview

Karlsson should win it because of the historic offensive season he had. 1st defenseman in over 30 years, since Leetch in the early 90s, to score 100+ points in a season.
