Maybe I missed something with brunette but Florida sucked the year he took over for Q. Couldn't reign in that clubbing at 3AM before a playoff game Panthers team. Couldn't defend worth shit, relied on historically high scoring and coming back from down 2, 3 goals on a nightly basis. Paul Maurice takes over and they can defend again.

Florida had a good look at brunette and realized he wasn't the answer. Zito is doing well enough that I think it's not a bad thing to defer to his judgement on brunette.

The devils could have let Lindy go and let Brunette take over as a quasi retirement type deal but didn't.

Brunette has medium high clown factor. That plus Voldemort, I'm fine with Lavi. He's the victim of the anti retread OBC movement.
