“@AGrossRecord: Rangers' four-game playoff winning streak their first since sweeping Atlanta Thrashers (remember them) in first round of 2007 playoffs.”

Credit the coach, as I think he sets the tone. So far, AV has turned to be even more than I originally hoped for. However, I have a great deal of respect for Therrien, as I think he's done a superb job in MTL.

Me too, which is why I think this won't be an indicator on the series.

I think it's really hard to change tactics after a 7 game series. We saw Tortorella fail miserably at it last year. In this way, the Rangers benefited from the scheduling for once. Instead of having to burn the off-day after game 7 on a rest day, they got to rest up and were able to have 2 full practices to work on tactics. How much do you want to bet AV, Arniel, Samuelsson, and Lacroix spent all day on Wednesday watching video of both Montreal and Boston and had their tactics planned for whichever won Wednesday night?

Nah, I'd have D. Moore center Pouliot & Zuccarello; Put Carcillo or Fast on the 4th line with Boyle at center.

From the post game interview it looks like he is fine. He said he thinks he will be ready for game 2.

Great game by Rick Nash. He has a lot more space in this series as does the whole team. Suits their game much more. Hopefully they can take advantage.

You could just tell from Nash's muted celebration of his goal, he was more than relieved to have that 'play-off monkey' off his back, if ever a guy needed that goal, at that time, it was him.

Sadly, you also just know, if Nash didn't score, we'd be reading of how we 'scored X goals, and still Nash never scored' posts.

Why do I have this feeling the Canadiens will be looking to seriously injure the rest if the series?

Well if anything the talk on their board is about them running Hank and bashing Kreiders head in :shakehead

And yes, i was over there to stir **** up

Yeah they tried to do that at the end athey fell apart. The Rangers are focused in right now and if the Habs want to try and goon it up they will lose this series very quickly

Habs board PGT title..

We poked the bear...lost 7-2

Maybe they can deal with the bear in the next one, our game 2 stats are not the best.

The Rangers were made out to be an overpaid scrub squad reading the main board over the last few days.
Habs got over-inflated heads.
Fans and players.
