Too many players played extremely well for only 3 stars. I think Hank, Zuke, McD, Kreider, Moore, St Louis and probably Richards all deserve special credit. The entire team performed really well, not often we see a blowout in our favour. They picked the right time.

That was one of the worst playoff games the Montreal Canadiens have played... ever in their history.

I cannot believe what I just saw.

Good game !

We missed Brass in the second period, but JT Miller will help a lot or even Fasth if he gets a chance. Won't have to juggle lines. Or do you risk going with Carbomb? Don't necessarily want to give a few MTL players an "enemy"... Let them figure out how to play a team that don't engage.

Montreal has awesome precence on the points, but many slow Ds too.

If we don't win the next game, half the board will melt and we will be the worst team ever again. BUT, 25/26 last games is won by the team that scores first. If MTL scores first, we won't have an easy time to beat them. And MTL is a deal team with a lot of opertunjstic players.

Sometimes stars disappears in hockey. It happen to everyone. For example, did anyone notice Vanek today. Besides two half blocked shots on the PP I never noticed him. It's not only the "worst ever" players that disappear.

The Bell silent as a fricking Tomb.

Gotta like that. Great game boys.

If anyone on the Ranger board actually uses this you deserve a kick in the ****. As good as that was, it's one game. I am confident the players know this.

Im a Leafs fan so ill be rocking this till game 2

BTW, it remains killing demons for me...never comeback down 3-1 or beat Pens in a playoff series? Beasts slayed. Let's see a few more put down.

I would've been really impressed if we won Game 1 2-1, and then won Game 2 7-2.

Lets come out and win Game 2 now. The whole "we only need to win 1 on the road" thing is ********. We've been a better road team than home team this year.

Even Nash got 7 votes.

Pens fan here. Really great performance by Rangers. Also nice to see that Lundqvist > Price. Hoping that you win this.

Whelp! That was embarrassing!!

Great game by the Rangers, though, some truly ridiculously skilled plays. Hoping this was just a "Boston hangover" type of game, and that we'll go back to the solid, all business style we played against Boston.

Good Game 1, guys.

EDIT: I'm a Habs fans, just in case my location made that unclear...

Great win.

Hopefully Brassard will be okay for the next one. He's an important player for us.

I expect Montreal is going to be a lot better in the next one. I think they took us for granted--I also think there was a bit of a hangover for them from the last series.

Kreider had a monster game. The Canadiens had a problem with his speed. They're going to have to adjust. McDonagh--a 4 point night. Zucc with 3 points. Neither of them were among the three stars of the game. Dominic Moore another big impact player for us in this one--replacing Brassard and helping to set up the first two goals that got the Montreal team back on its heels.

And Nash scored a goal--hoo-****ing--ray.

Just an aside note...in 2009, the Habs had the 18th pick and selected Louie Leblanc...next pick? Chris Kreider.

Yeah, but his name is Leblanc. How do you not draft him?
