So have we already assumed a game 2 loss, or can the curse be broken? lol Sure would be a nice time to finally take a two game lead in a series heading back to MSG for a pair.

Lundqvist made a great point yesterday after the game. The Rangers are used to playing a team like Montreal after having faced Pittsburgh. Quick. Fast pace. Montreal faced the big bad Bruins which was a street fight. Now Montréal has to face the quick and fast paced Rangers. They need to make the adjustments. The Rangers aren't going to engage Montréal in after the whistle scrums or trash talk them. Philadelphia tried to get the Rangers into that game but they ignored them. The Rangers need to keep their discipline and stay out of the box. Montréal was great on the power play against Boston. Lundqvist is seeing the puck like a beach ball.

It's really interesting how we've developed the reputation as the clean team in the playoffs. That's not to say Montreal is a dirty team, I don't really think they are, but it's cool nonetheless. We just gotta keep doing what were doing.

It's scary that Habs fans want Hanks bloods and there was apparently a player that said they're gunning for him in the post game. Then someone said on the board, that they're more worried if Talbot takes the net.

Completely denying that he their D made contact and that is why Krieder went down. Also, no one touched him when he "went after" Anderson and when he scored the goal that got him a roughing call.

With regards to this "game 2 curse", it's only a problem if the players believe in it.

And let's be honest, yesterday morning, if you said we go to The Garden with the games tied 1-1, many of us would've ripped your arm off.

That said, 2-0 Rangers sounds fantastic :)

What are you talking about? We have the King of Headhunters on our team

I'm not really bothered if we get blown out at some point, all that matters is those 4 wins.

Why do the national broadcasters hate NYR? You can clearly heart it, both on NBC and CBC.

They were obviously extremely dissapointed that NYR beat Pens and yesterday against the Habds it was so easy to notice that they did not like what they saw.....

It sucks big time that MSG don´t have any more games in these playoffs :(

Anti-New York. I've noticed it in every sport.

Move Moore up. Slot Carcillo in on the 4th line. Still don't like that Dorsett is in over Carcillo. But hey, it has been working for them, so who am I to question AV?

Against a team like the Habs, I would run Fast over Carcillo. I think his speed would be useful here.

No Price for @CanadiensMTL this morning, bad sign given that collision w Kreider, keeping my finger on the pulse, may be worse that reported.

Price skated with the goalie coach Stephan Waite before practice. Why would Price skate with the goalie coach before the optional? When Lundqvist skated with Allaire early in the season and wasn't on the ice with his teammates,he was injured. The Habs had an optional this morning.

This is an optional at Brossard. Missing are Plekanec, Eller, Subban, Gorges and Price.

The Rangers aren't skating today because the team is attending the funeral for MSL's mom.

Brandon Prust doesn't buy that Chris Kreider accidentally hit Carey Price. "We're in the NHL. He should know how to fall."

What an idiot. Prust can barely skate. Kreider was skating full tilt. So Prust started slashing and hacking Kreider in the 3rd period. Prust is one good hit away on his shoulder from watching the game from press box. He missed a game in the Boston series because an injury believed to be a shoulder which has bothered him before.

Irony coming from Prust who was essentially Bambi on his skates. :handclap:

"We're in the NHL. He should know how to fall."

Maybe Prust can give him some pointers, since he knows how to do it.

It was obviously accidental, but if they want to think otherwise, all the better. The more time they spend thinking about Kreider and getting revenge, the less time they are spending thinking about playing hockey.
