Good I hope we finally have a horrific season. We got to have a great push and it was fun now let's have a tank season like every other franchise has done on the way to having an elite team

Not with Sather. He will be sure to trade our draft picks for over-paid over-the-hill players.

With our luck, Sather will retire/resign/be fired and Dolan will replace him with Mike Milbury.

Has there ever been a team that has done THIS to their fanbase before even having their first home game? Never has a home debut for any team seemed like it will be a somber affair. Crazy

God Vigneaults pressers couldn't be more boring. Im pretty sure I could script every single one of them before they happen

The Rangers were already gonna be a bad offensive team, but then you take away half of their top 6, and you see the results.

to me AV seems smart but very very passive.. i loved torts bc of emotion and passion for the game.. with key injuries to nash callahan and hags, it going to expose us badly and its obv..

Miller, Kreider, fast looked excellent this game..

boyle haters got to stop.. dude played excellent tonight, as did moore..

with our big three out our depth guys are now the ones to count on, and thats not a good situation for anyone..

right now we need pyatt and pouls to get the **** off this team.. play kristo and make a ****en trade for someone with an edge to there game and has a pulse..

but overall i thought we played a lot better game then previous.. to think its nov almost and we have yet to play a home game is disturbing.. give it home games and peoples coming back and we'll be good to go..

hags might be back monday so it should be good for us..

Kreider-Step-Miller
Richards-Brass- MZA
Hags-boyle-Fast
Mash-Moore-Dorsett

id go to battle right now with that.. **** the vets!!

Kristo probably isn't up here because he only played 9 games in the AHL last year. Although he's played well thus far, to be on the safe side, I'd give him more time.

A judgement call but I think the called back goal should have counted. Mason put the puck right in Miller's skates.

Kreider looked decent. Richards was good again. Girardi was very good and I thought Moore was good. Talbot had a good game--especially it being his first NHL game.

The good: Talbot. If something was to happen to Hank long term, he's an acceptable options. Very happy with his play.
The bad: Everything else except Girardi and Richards, they were OK. Kreider was passable, but could be A LOT better.

Injuries isn't an excuse in my opinion. Last year the Senators missed Spezza, Karlsson, Michalek, Cowen, Anderson, etc, and they were still a very competitive team.

Sure, injuries hurt. And it's hard to overcome them. But we haven't even seen a consistent effort from our squad. Most games they look like garbage. Tonight wasn't one of those nights, but it doesn't change the Jekyll & Hyde we've seen from them.

Injuries matter when the replacements are minor league talent.

yea...might not even bother to watch that gem.

I'd actually argue it is a good one to watch. You'll get to see some really skilled, great hockey being played. Just not from the Rangers. As long as you go into it with that expectation, it'll be a fun, good hockey game to watch.

I understand that Dorsett brings a certain amount of grittiness to this team, but he seems to be a complete idiot about when and how to use it. I feel like he has hurt this team more than he has helped it..

This is why I was so pissed at Stepan for sitting out during training camp. He has looked like ****. Granted the rest of the team has as well but his terrible play certainly isn't helping.
