The Rangers have scored 13 goals in 9 games.

The only other teams that have scored less than 20 goals this season are the Sabres and Flyers (both have scored 15).

Lol

I hate that torts looks better with every game this team plays. Turns out he wasn't the problem and he was winning games with a garbage heap for talent.

We've nothing but shake-up trades the last two years. Player and coaching changes aren't working.

Like SBOB said: the fish rots from the head down.

We have players in Boyle, MDZ that shouldve been moved prior to AV

Players in Pyatt and Poiliot that shouldn't even be here...

SBOB isn't saying anything I didn't know 5 yrs ago. Hes no ranger seer

We wouldn't have been able to keep Gaborik, Nash and Richards. Of course Richards buyout would've been the obvious out, but even then it would've been very tight with the cap. We more or less had to trade Gaborik sooner or later.

But didn't we move Gaborik at $7.5 million for Brassard at $3.2 million, Dorsett at $1.63 million, and John Moore at $840k... a total of $5.67 million.

We saved $1.8 million in that exchange. Did we really need to trade him? FOR $1.8 MILLION? If we saved $5-6 million in the deal I would agree with you, but at the end of the day we moved a legitimate 1st line sniper who is back to playing the way we would expect him to (people wanted to butcher him for having one bad year), for a 3rd liner, 4th liner, and a hopeful talent in Moore. That's not exactly what I would call a good move.

This team would certainly be better with Gaborik in place of Brassard and Dorsett. Moore is the only wild card in the trade.

Right but we're still changing everything but the GM.

Hint: it hasn't worked, it's not gonna work.

we are missing 3 top 6 forwards so its tough to score. I think the kids have looked good but we need stepan and brassard to wake up

Welp, to sum it up.......it's not looking good. That's all I have. Off to Oklahoma tomorrow morning to catch the Sooners game Saturday and since I'm a glutton for punishment I'll probably be looking for a bar in OKC or Norman (depending on how trashed I get) on Saturday night to watch the Detroit game. Later people.

Even with them back in the line-up, I don't see how they will make a difference. Hagelin may need a few weeks before he gets back into his groove, I wouldn't be surprised if Nash will play as a shell of himself this season. The only exception to the rule I see is Cally.

Injuries isn't an excuse in my opinion. Last year the Senators missed Spezza, Karlsson, Michalek, Cowen, Anderson, etc, and they were still a very competitive team.

Sure, injuries hurt. And it's hard to overcome them. But we haven't even seen a consistent effort from our squad. Most games they look like garbage. Tonight wasn't one of those nights, but it doesn't change the Jekyll & Hyde we've seen from them.

I'm going to have to disagree with many of you.

I thought the Rangers effort was fine, the tried.
I think their defense looked the best it had aside from the Caps game (though I know the Flyers can't score).

Girardi had an excellent game. It seemed that doing so much PK perhaps was more familiar defensively than 5-5 man to man.

The problem as I saw was this team is not talented.
Without a healthy Nash and Callahan they have no offense.
This team was top heavy to begin with, and better get Nash soon.

Boomer!!!

We're terrible. No cohesion.

No anything.

1. Add 3 of top 4 wingers
2. Makes no difference

I get it. How do u suggest we convince Sather to retire?

Stop going.

Alot of people are talking about doing "Fire Sather" chants at the home opener, but if there was 5,000 people there that would be so much louder than any chant.

I'm not going to another game til he's gone. I've had it.

Fire Sather won't do it. Pinpoint the aggression at Dolan. Yelling "Dolan sucks," or "Dolan leave" may make Dolan finally wake up and realize..he owns a ****ing hockey team and that they suck.
