Absolutely agree......i Called that he should be stripped of the C. He's not leading in any way, shape, or form. Period

Yea I just don't see how he acts like a captain except for maybe 1 or 2 games this year where he tried to jumpstart the team with his play. He's been so bad offensively lately. I wonder if the other plays look up to him at all. I could see maybe some of the younger homegrown guys but it just doesn't seem like he is a captain other than the letter he wears.

I think all of the emphasis on shot-blocking takes 10 points off all the defensemen's stats, plus it's going to take two years off everyone's careers.

Really think the system stifles the skill the team does have.

There's no reason Del Zotto should not be a 12 goal 30 assist player. Girardi 6-10 goals, 20-25 assists, McDonagh about the same, Staal similar, even Stralman could put up some decent numbers. This system is killing the defensemen.

i agree. What you state is not at all overly ambitious. Contributions along those lines should be expected, otherwise what's the point? If slow, stuttering and non-threatening from the defense through the forwards is all this is needed, just go find some more low-end Hamrliks and be done with it. Many players should be doing much more to contribute to goals.
Goals win games.

Kreider couldn't single handedly score and guide the Rangers to the Cup last year....only th ECF. Beaver was Conn Smythe for Torts in 04'.......Torts will 4ever be indebted to #19 #91
