Team hasn't played a decent game in going on 2 weeks now. This was coming down the pike hard and fast. Wouldn't be surprised to see this team lose all their games this week.
All I have noticed is that they fail as a team. Just look at their breakouts. It's hard to even call them breakouts. What is that puts such a damper on skilled players (and do not tell me there is not enough skill to play a decent offensive game) and makes everything a ****show?
Why this constipation, this lack of being hockey players passing and generating plays with each other on a half-decent regular basis?
And?
Both were terrible, it doesn't really matter which one got more TOI.
I don't even care if they get steam rolled. As a fan I want them to go as far as they possibly can. If the farthest they can go is 5 games into the first round, okay.
What..? You're happy winning one game in the playoffs?
Wanting the team to miss playoffs so changes that should benefit the entire organization will most likely come sooner doesn't make people fairweather fans. It makes them fans that want to see their absolutely stacked team succeed and fulfill their potential like they should be. They shouldn't just be scraping by by the skin of their pants, they should be able to sustain some sort of offense on a nightly basis against teams that are worn down and tired. Hell, they should be able to sustain some sort of effort on a nightly basis regardless who they're playing.
Sounds like I should be glad I missed tonight's game. Like M0rbid said, last year was the anomaly.
Torts isn't getting fired regardless, the trade deadline proved that.

Sad picture in #NYR dressing room: after speaking w/reporters Brad Richards by himself, hat pulled low, sitting hunched in corner
Ladd wins the shootout. Jets get two pts.
9th place.
Someone console the Beav.
They looked like gladiators during the home and home against potentially the best team in the league.
Somehow, this is the same team.
“@NYDNRangers: Brad Richards absolutely distraught in the locker room. Sitting quietly after talking to reporters, head in hands ... #NYR all frustratedâ€
Hahah....what a little *****.
