This was easily the worst game of Igor's career. Hank used to have the meltdowns out of nowhere early in his career. But Igor looked above that, especially this season.

Don't do necromancy kids, it's not cool. Send Nemeth to fight in the Ukrainian-Russian war. Either side. Maybe send Braun to fight for whichever side Nemeth isn't on.
Hey now! Let's not say things we might regret

Game sucked, we let the wheels fall off in the second, and got way too far behind the 8-ball.

And we also found a way to toss a road block in front of Lafreniere. Hopefully he's right back on the top line next game, like Gallant is reputed to do. If he has to "earn" it again, I am off the Gallant bandwagon completely.

Utterly maddening garbage. If this game doesn't make every single 1 of them pissed, nothing will.Completely unacceptable tonight

I truly hate Ryan Strome. I really pray to god we can replace him this off-season. I know it's important having a good second line center, but I just can't stand the guy.

Also, why won't any coach actually give Panarin an extended look with someone else? Strome and him haven't been anything like they were in prior seasons and other than his bitching to the media, I see no reason why they should be kept together. Panarin's also probably going to need to get used to life without him, since it seems pretty obvious the team is going to let him walk.

Needed this tonight - anyone else? One rock or two? (I usually have none)

Laf with 10:26 and the 2nd lowest ice time behind Reaves.
Nemeth played over 20 mins (20:38, which was more than Fox, Lindgren and Braun)

Why is this team so frustrating

Old saying... a team is a direct reflection of the leader/s or coach. I don't know which one is easier to fix. Is 64 games enough to judge Gallant by? Cuz it sure will be as hard as hell to replace the core/leaders on this team.

Burn the tape. Sucks our two big wins over the weekend were sandwiches between non-playoff teams and they were the Islanders and Devils to boot. So obviously we’re all pissed. From the second period puck drop on they were terrible, including Igor who looked off all night.

Get some rest tomorrow, solid practice Thursday, forget about it and move on to a big game vs Pittsburgh on Friday.

I knew this night was going to sick when I got stuck with the NJD feed.

Am I the only one that finds them referring to their guys by first name one to be extremely unprofessional?
Jack passes to Nico, Nico to Damon...

The only time I remember Sam doing this was with Brady Skjei, but only because he was always "Brady Skjei" and never just "Skjei"

Anyway, just stole one we had no business winning in Carolina. Can't get by on luck forever. Reality check. This team need to work hard. .

Good to see the Devils added two after I stopped watching.

I mentioned this in another thread ages ago, but at one point late last year I was looking for new/used skates. Found a pair on sideline swap, and ended up not buying them because they were Nemeth's old skates. That guy is literally useless. He hurts to watch.

I know Panarin puts up points, but his dance-y bullshit us at risk SO often. This ain't the KHL, bud. People will hit you in this league.

Chalking a bit of this up to having four new guys in the line up, but the lack of fight tonight really shocked me.

BAD game by Gallant, and I absolutely love the guy. He waited FAR too long to yank Shesty, waited too long to try different line combos, never utilized a time out, and benched Laffy for what exactly?

All in all, they looked like they were all hung over.
