I’m a Devils fan amd totally agree. VV is not in the same league as Sheshterkin. VV has mostly played well this season but does not have close to the pedigree as Sheshterkin has.

Agreed, and among the Eastern matchups Rangers/Devils is probably the biggest toss-up.

The word “experience” is a bit of a cudgel here when pushing a narrative one way or the other, but there definitely is something to learning to win playoff series.

You're telling me Miller and Goodrow are negative impact players? Biased but Devils in 6. Rangers have trouble scoring goals even with all their great forwards. Devils have a better defense. Devils third pairing would be top4 on several teams. Still think the devils can win the metro so this series won’t even happen

Through the years, playoff experience typically wins the series. Devs absolutely have the ability to win this series, but they will not be easy wins, especially the deciding game. Rangers have that switch they can turn on with extra juice. Can the blueshirts find that game? It will be up to the Devs to find out. Let the games begin should be a good series
