I've been alive nearly 40 years. Only to have Montreal win twice in that span. One of which I was too young to recall while the other happened 30 years ago.Yawn. Come talk to me when you guys get 21 more cups. Cya in 25000 years.
It is reminiscent, no question. The boys from Jersey and eating some humble pie at the moment.Shades of that Rangers sweep over the Isles in 1994. Just a beatdown from start to finish.
I'm having doubts Boston gets by Panthers. So there is a very high chance they would not beat TB/Toronto. Injured and once again shrinking against a physical team.Rangers the early cup favourites atm…even if Boston gets to the comf final, bergeron and krejci will be held together by crazy glue and duck tape…

So congrats...Try to win another before I'm falling asleep to Fox News in 2053
Rangers have elite goaltending. Sorokin, lost the net on that OT winner. Way too deep. Carolina really wanted to win that final game vs FLA to ensure that they avoided NYR in round 2. The difference between offense between NYI and NYR is night and day. Goaltending was to be on par.I'm having doubts Boston gets by Panthers. Rangers have a good path to Finals once they finish off Devils. No question they beat Canes. And I think they are more seasoned now to beat TB. They are definitely better than Toronto.
NJ is quickly becoming overrated again. NYR is the better roster.
The rangers really have no weaknesses. Great top 6, best 3rd line in the league, excellent defencemen, and a top 3 goalie.Rangers have elite goaltending. Sorokin, lost the net on that OT winner. Without Svech and TT, uphill battle for Carolina if they do face NYR in round 2, assuming both 2-0 leaders finish off their series.
keep on laughing, u get them next.Epic series so far! lol
Lol The moment Svechnikov went down my playoffs expectation became lucky to make the second round, Even without our two best finishers I promise you the Canes will acquit themselves far better that the Devils have. Your series reminds me of when the Canes ran into Boston in 2020 Semi finals, A young and fast team with no physicality, they have to learn how to play playoff hockey, the Canes they hit about as often as the Devils do during the regular season 16hpg this season average, the Canes however know now how to ratchet that up in the playoffs the past 3 seasons averaging 40 HPG.keep on laughing, u get them next.
Man if only Tank could do anything at even strength....I think he means relying on Kane or Tarasenko for anything other than the PP.
Probability of playing the Rangers in round two Is close to 70% right now lol. You mean round one? Unfortunately I agree with your assessment I don't think we can win the series with the injuries we have, and it would have been a tough one even healthy.Rangers have elite goaltending. To be honest, I didn't think Rangers wouldrevert to a near perfect trap. Tarasenko has been great, much better than he was to finish the season.Man if only Tank could do anything at even strength....

Received several laughing faces for this one.
No doubt he was on our third pair last season and added some needed grit.True shame no one in the league watches NJD because I too also think playing Brendan Smith over Jonas Sigenthalar is because of skill and not the coach losing his marbles with physicality
Enjoy getting taken to 6-7 by Florida when Pavel Zacha is your 1C.
The devils have had good moments in the series where they’ve controlled play and the rangers looked like they were in trouble. But unfortunately for devils fans they haven’t learned how to capitalize in those moments. If they lose they’ll take this series as a lesson and be much better next year. As for the rangers I’m hoping we get through this series quick. Can’t keep going 7 games every round and expecting it not to hamper us in the end.
