At this point, I'm actually hoping that Callahan has some nagging issues from his recent injuries.
McD, Nash and Stralman were positives.
Did Stepan, Hagelin, Kreider or Zucc play? Aside from one speed play from Kreider, I didn't really notice any of them.
Brassard needs to find some gonads. He was flinching away from contact every time I saw him in the offensive zone.
Staal needs to sit a game. Not only does he need to get the message, but benching an A might actually send a message to the rest of the team as well. He's played almost a third of a season now. A couple of those games, he's looked like his old self. Maybe half a dozen more, he's been good to decent. The rest? He's been a disaster. It needs to stop. The turnover on the third goal was the backbreaker for me. Staal had two wide open teammates to pass to in the other direction, but instead he tries to force it down the boards, right to the Boston player who knew that that was EXACTLY what he was going to do. No excuse for that in the third period of a tie game.
