Drury signing Hunt for two years for no money.

He had a great hit to force the turnover that ultimately led to him scoring the 2nd goal.

Bruins fans getting on Swayman, but other than the best rebound, which one of those goals was on him? I felt like that was the type of bad game you see from top goalies. Gave up a moderate amount of goals (4), with a lot of side to side action. Wasn't a good game, but I'm surprised how down Bruins fans are on him.

I missed a doozy eh. f***.

GG boys.
Yes you did: the announcers fawning over the Bruins and not understanding the difference between shot quantity and shot quality and having to eat shit, the Rangers waking up and taking over the game and scoring some nice goals, Kreider trying the lacrosse goal at full speed in tight in the NHL and Panarin proving that if you want to clown, he'll f***ing clown right with you.

Strome has been a really good player for us. He's been stellar.....

but we need a LHS on the right wall of PP1. It's blatant.

At this point, I'd rather sit Zibs for Kakko. What's the point of Zibs if he's not shooting?

I thought the announcers were definitely slanted towards the Bruins most of the game. They spent 30 seconds bashing the passing before Strome scored the first goal. They were just a bit too Bruins happy. How we ended up in a 4 on 4 late in the game after that knee on knee was atrocious by the refs and wasn't even pointed out by the announcing team.
I’m watching the CAR-PHI game and even their announcers are talking shit about the Rangers.

Snowblind I really don’t understand you sometimes.

Exactly. Nobody would say they didn't get their money's worth of entertainment from that game.

If Shesterkin gave up some of those goals you would be all over him.

One thing to say about the overall game, this was a statement game IMO. The Bruins are worse than last year obviously (losing Krejci and Rask is huge), but they are still battling for that playoff spot and have some really good players. The fact that we started the game flat, and recovered is huge. And what made it possible was Shestyorkin holding the fort for the 1st period.

Which kinda leads me to the negative that something has to be done about the backup position. At this point, it's best for everyone that Georgiev is gone, even himself. But who can we bring up as a backup is able to at least make some saves? Because with Georgiev in net, we are not fighting back.

Only the second one. Bad rebound control. That first one was similar to Shesterkin's first one, same area of the ice. Three and four were a deflection and two on one. It was not a good game but this is what it looks like when a good goalie has a mediocre game. So I wouldn't worry about Swayman off this game. Maybe he wasn't good in other games either, I don't know.

The bottom line right now?

We are seeing so many players evolve all at once. And so much of that is due to coaching staff and culture.

Gauthier is 10x the player he was since he came here.
Hunt is playing top line minutes and getting points.
Laf is hitting and fighting and chipping in more offense than last year. His game is def improving.
Kakko looks far more confident.
Miller looks more confident
Kreider looks very confident.
Chytil looks solid and more confident.
I thought Lundkvist looked solid again and proving it against the Bruins no less.

All in all, our depth looks pretty good because we have 3 to 4 lines going in most games.

This is a big deal. To see this much growth out of so many players in such a small window of time - it bodes well across the organization. It should make Drury's job easier.
