Fogarty being in tonight for Haley wouldn't change the score I don't think. Rangers are getting schooled---both the Zibanejad and Panarin lines aren't doing a lot. Defensively we're getting shredded--the DeAngelo/Hajek pairing especially. Henrik's made some big saves but overall it's not been a great game for him either. Sticking this loss on Haley for Fogarty seems absurd to me.

Two guys look good in this game for us--Fox and Chytil.
When you get back to 3-2 in this game and then you roll out the 4th line which had been bad thus far in the game, completely useless, that makes you a stupid stupid coach.

My Dog is 12 years old. He's a good dog. I love him. But I noticed recently that he can't jump anymore. He tries to get up on my bed and he crashes back down to the ground. Now he just lays on the rug at the foot of the bed. I feel bad for him but it hurts me to see him keep trying to jump up when he knows he can't make it.

Henrik may be the best player this franchise has ever had. But he can't jump up on the bed anymore.

I don't know if it's all him, or the way the team responds to him. In the end it doesn't matter. For the first time in 15 years, this team has a better chance to win when #30 isn't playing.

It doesn't mean we don't love him anymore.

I hope you build your dog a ramp

- While I agree that Hank is no longer a game-stealing goalie, the team also seems to play measurably worse when he is in the net than Georgiev or Shesty.

Whether that's random error or something else is unclear.

This fan base no longer possess the ability to judge goalies fairly after 10 years of Lundqvist prime. Goalies look worse than their play when the team plays **** through the neutral zone and defensive zone and does next to nothing to make the play easier for the goalie to read and track. This is just what happens but we just go straight to critiquing the goalie. The same .910 as the NHL average but our goalie is cooked and toast and no longer NHL capable.

It's gross. Goalies getting peppered for 30+ shots EVERY NIGHT and somehow they're supposed to stop each and everyone of them in front of the worst play.

Stop, they are getting their asses kicked. Binnington gave up a terrible goal too so we can play that game and still we'd be losing.

yes NOW they’re getting their ass kicked because the game has gotten away. But you’re up 1-0 playing a good period bad goal against. Then another bad goal against before the period ends. Stl goes into their system when leading and you’re pushing a boulder up hill. Haven’t gotten a save.

Games turn easily in this league.

You have to put the fourth line out there once in a while. I get the rationale, maybe. You get back to within one, and you want some physicality on the next shift maybe, to keep the momentum going.

It would be about the same with either as a starter now.

in the future choices need to be made cuz damn..

Hank is just really inconsistent these days. I would think long and hard about trading Georgie. Based on games like this you have to wonder if Hank can play his best when he's not getting in game action more regularly. Regardless of what we do with our goalie situation going forward, I'm concerned about Hank. I don't want him to tarnish his legacy with a few very inconsistent seasons here at the end.
