That was a soft half hearted play at the blueline by Haley. Didn't even move after it was turned over.

He took the puck, rotated 180 degrees, and passed it the same direction the puck was originally going.

Literally the same thing would have happened if he wasn't there.

Howden and Kaapo don't have that man strength yet. They're stopped every time along the boards and they can't use their bodies to leverage and tie up pucks. They're pretty useless on the forecheck right now. Need a good offseason.

Like I implied, he played well defensively most nights despite being paired with Staal. If you think he was bad, look at our team. We have d-men who can’t defend and don’t put up points. At least he puts up points to counter his occasional bad defense.
