I'm not surprised. This is exactly what I feared with D'Angelo. He isn't mature enough to handle success. He has one big career game and he falls back into old habits. Let's not forget he had that game against the Devils who are worse than us. Now, he plays the defending Champion Blues and he is totally exposed. I would be very leery of giving ADA a big contract in the off season.

Haley took the puck, immediately turned it over, and then Smith stood there while the Blues player breezed by him. Neither backchecked. And then the player got by Hajek.

Hajek was the least of the issues on that goal.

I wouldn't mess with the lines. KZB works, for better or worse. After game-by-game juggling for so long, the lines have been stable for a while now. Unless you mean just juggle them for this game.

I think that’s an overreaction. He can defend. He just needs to work on those bad habits. He’ll never be more than above average defensively, but that’s fine. He’s had the worst defensive partners also in Staal and Hajek.
