GM’s always find a way to unload these contracts in the last few years if need be anyway, typically to some loser team looking for leadership
in a world where brandon tanev, who never won a thing in his life, got a similar deal I guess we had no real choice.
I'm really disappointed. this isn't a truly horrible contract but this is bad. A very bad deal that has buyout written all over it.
The problem is he isn't worth that contract today. Forget about in 3 or 4 years.GM’s always find a way to unload these contracts in the last few years if need be anyway, typically to some loser team looking for leadership
It’s not devastating. It’s overpriced for sure though.
I certainly do not think this is a good deal, lolAgree with your point about Tanev but making deals where we say at least it’s not as bad as this other contract is not the best way to build a hockey team.
because they're all besties and bail each other out of these horrid deals every year.Disgusting. How can these gm’s make the same mistakes year after year
SeravalliMaybe I missed it, where's 6x3.6 coming from?
That's way too much imo

Putting this is in the bad Sather moves column and not in the good Gorton moves column.
In all seriousness this is a hideous contract in money and especially term.
pump the brakesThat's a very very bad contract and an alarming start for Drury if it's true.
I am definitely not here for it.He’s gonna get the Brandon Tanev contract and I am not sure if I am here for that.
