Hank was awful due to what exactly? Puck off McD's skate or crazy deflection off Galchenyuk's neck? Our scorers were awful for not netting a goal when it mattered. Dominate all you want, the score was 3-2 for the white sweaters.

I guess I wasn't the only one that thought that. Hank has been great before this game. Mediocre game by him. I mean REALLY mediocre. That could have easily been a goal even if it didn't bounce off Galchenyuk. Staal let his man go. I seriously think Lundqvist is a ****** goalie when it comes to rebound control. Staal did nothing, but I'm sorry, you shouldn't rely on your D-man to clear the front of the net for your. TERRIBLE rebound control. And he's sucked at it his whole damn career. He's lucky in that sense to play in front of D-men that usually clear the front of the net.

If he put the puck back into the slot I would agree with you, but that puck was going to the boards...you really need to get over your obsession with Hank... :shakehead:shakehead:shakehead:shakehead:shakehead

Please explain :shakehead:shakehead:shakehead:shakehead:shakehead:shakehead:shakehead

Sieve on the 1st goal, way out of his net on the 2nd goal, spit out a massive rebound on an easy shot on the 3rd goal.

Great players have bad games. He had a bad game.

Shame we couldn't pick him up the way he picked us up in Pittsburgh, but he was bad.

Boston fan here. Sorry guys - I feel for you on so many levels. Crappy puck luck is really all it was. You'll get em next game! Dealing with the Habs for as short a timespan as possible is always ideal.

Doesn't even matter. Rangers again beating themselves and sucking on home ice making a rookie goalie look like a vezina candidate.

Wouldn't be surprised if Habs win in 7.

I mean anything can happen. But I'm not quite panicking just yet. Is LA automatically going to win the series since they blew out Chicago last night?

Tokarski was their best player. That last goal sucked. I had a bad feeling about this game from the start win game 4, and go back on the road where they're more comfortable.

It's interesting. I think this game was one where I really thought it was so hard to tell where it was going, so I decided on a Rangers win.

I thought that the Rangers best intentions tonight were missing the all-necessary final mile. They went in, they dished and dashed, they did not complete.
I'm not worried, because knowing this team, when they get toasted they smarten up and do the things that I kept noticing they did not really do tonight. It's their own frigging fault.

Overall I thought the Rangers played well. Got some terrible bounces.

Need to win the next one at MSG. Can't go back to Montreal tied.

The "king" got outplayed by some echl scrub, I hope I'm not the only one that's not surprised.

The king didn't miss the net on a bunch of glorious chances, or give up shots to try and deke past that last guy *cough* Nash *cough*. Not his best game, but the Rangers should have potted 3 in regulation.

worst outcome possible. this f-ing montreal team isn't going to go away.

go back through the previous game threads tonight - many of us said it - that this game STINKS of the boston series - and sure enough, here we go again

because of this totally predictable loss tonight - this series is totally up in the air. Montreal can absolutely take it now. Cant believe it. Who the hell is gonna knock them off?

Since game 1 in Boston, all they've done is get totally dominated and win the game. Game. After game. After game. After game. Same old game plan. Get walked all over each game.. and then win it. seems like it can't be real, with the way they play such garbage hockey, and here they are, ready to go deep into round 3. Someone had better figure them out, and fast. If the way to win a game is to get destroyed for 60 minutes and then still win it, maybe the Rangers should adapt this style of play. Because it worked for Montreal for 7 games in Boston and now tonight again.

I really hate to say it, but this is going to go right to 7 games and don't be surprised if the habs take it.

Well considering it's either a win or a loss, I'd say a loss is the worst of the two.

Tokarski made himself look like a Vezina candidate. Some of you guys can't give the dude credit. He was outstanding.
I agree he was good although we could have made life tougher for him. Its funny MTL fans never blame their own team for anything and our fans blame all our losses on bad effort. Sometimes you lose games even when you play well

STOP BLAMING LUNDQVIST

It was all fluke bounces and in.

I am so annoyed with this loss, all those ****ing missed calls by the refs.

Just putrid
