Would be nice if we could sweep the Cubs and get back to 1 game under .500
Obviously not holding my breath but a nice little run would be a boon for the spirits.
(nobody has to respond) just tired of what baseball has become with this opener bs. It was cute when Tampa was doing it. It’s annoying. Get a damn starting pitcher who uh, starts.
The makeup of the MLB staff does tend to make one wonder...I did not like the Andy Haines hire (Brewers teams under him didn't exactly smash the ball) and he's got to have some skin in the game as far as the hitting goes.
I don't doubt we have talent at the MLB level and plenty more coming through the pipeline, but I seriously question whether the people we have in place are good enough to develop the talent. Especially once they hit the big club. I'm not impressed with Shelton and company at all.
