Quintana having an incredible start to the year. Gotta imagine he'll bring at least what Anderson did, though I wouldn't mind resigning him if he continues to pitch well. Would be a nice guy to have when the younger guys make the jump.

Hoping the hitters can bust of this can't put up any runs slump. Can't afford to lose games when the SP does as well as they have the last few days.

(nobody has to respond) just tired of what baseball has become with this opener bs. It was cute when Tampa was doing it. It’s annoying. Get a damn starting pitcher who uh, starts.

Peters has been great for the most part so far this year. Things just went very very wrong tonight

Wow, this is pathetic.

I wanted to give Reynolds $90M. Now I'm not sure if I'd give him $19M right now. That's 2/4 years now where he can't hit at all.

All of these soft grounders are sickening. It's contagious. The team needs to drive the ball. We're headed for a very dark stretch in my opinion, based on what I'm seeing out of the offense.

I did not like the Andy Haines hire (Brewers teams under him didn't exactly smash the ball) and he's got to have some skin in the game as far as the hitting goes.

I don't doubt we have talent at the MLB level and plenty more coming through the pipeline, but I seriously question whether the people we have in place are good enough to develop the talent. Especially once they hit the big club. I'm not impressed with Shelton and company at all.

The makeup of the MLB staff does tend to make one wonder...

Fresh Top-500 Draft Prospect List:

Jones is the top guy in the class. Zero chance he makes it to 4. He's the only one you can say that about though.

Interesting they have Parada/Lee now above the other stellar HS bats (Green, Holliday, Johnson) at 2 and 3 respectively. We're going to get 1 of those 5 names list IMO at 4 overall. The question is do we stick with the college route or go for the upside in the HS ranks?

Nick Gonzales breaking out in a big way tonight.

3-4 with 2 doubles, and he just mashed a dinger to left.

Kyle Nicolas impressive tonight once again. We've got some at least fairly exciting lotto arms coming, with him, Burrows, and hopefully a #1 in Contreras.

I'll continue to call for Cal Mitchell's shot. Call him up now though and he'd be sitting 90% of the time...

I don't think Castro will ever be allowed at short again. I hope not anyway.

Oh well, guess our versatility quotient has increased exponentially.

Another 3-4 weeks of this and then we'll at least start seeing some of the top 10 guys making the leap (Cruz, Contreras) and hopefully more once Sept expansion rolls around.

If there is one thing done this offseason, it's fire Shelton and his staff and bring someone with a proven track record in. If you want to convince me, open the wallet a bit wider for a legitimate manager. I just don't see it with this guy.

We have to get rid of Yoshi at 1st too. Yoshi, Castro and Chavis cost us like 4 runs in an inning. VanMeter sucks at hitting, why does he play?

This is the first time in a while I've really heard Brown and Walk voice disgust with the team.

Good.
