They had Rich B lead them to the PO in 2021z. Opted to pass on him for McDaneils. Davis owes the fans of the raiders a press conference to accept the full blame in public. Such a gong show.

Easiest thing was to let Rich B roll into 2022 to see what he had.

Something has to change with how the decision to hire a regime has gone under his watch.

When Al passed, the HC was Jackson.
Since, then Mark has hired:

Dennis Allen 36 games, 8-28 record. Interim Sparano to finish the final 12 games in 2014 at 3-9
Jack Del Rio 48 games. 25-23. 1 PO in 2nd year,
John Gruden - 53 games - 22-31 no playoffs. Rich Bisaccia, Interim, 7-5 Made the PO after the 3-2 start by Gruden
Josh McDaniels - 10-15 (no playoffs)

Under Mark's leadership, Raiders are: 68-106

How is that going to change under him?

If NCAA sanctions Harbaugh, NFL may support that rather than allow him to work in NFL.

Personally, how much more $$ is Davis willing to spend for a new coach/GM?
Harbaugh, his style won't last long. Not working for a rebuilding team that needs 3 years to get new players. Probably was a fit over McDaniels in 2022 not sure where the raiders are in talent.

DL - if Wilson is good, and that's an IF, have no DT, to go with the DEs.
LB - just ok, but not the group to spend $ on.
DB - a couple seem like they can play but no pro bowlers on the roster
OL - Miller is very good, pro bowl. Parham, seems like a competent enough starter.
WR - good. But, age wise, need to go for it now.
TE - Mayer has potential
RB - Jacobs will be gone. Unknown for the rest.
QB - AOC, likely a backup.

Doesn't look like a win now roster.

So many of the better AFC teams having rough first halfs to the season.
Bills, Bengals, Chargers, and Jets were all to be in the mix for the PO. Seems like 2 of them and maybe more could miss the PO.
Bills at 5-5, Cin at 5-4, NYJ and LAC at 4-5.

Raiders really blew a chance vs the Bears to be at 6-4 right now, and hold down a WC spot. If they finish up wins vs Den, LAC, Min at home and vs Ind on the road, they'd get to 10 wins with 2 games vs KC and in Miami this week.

Chargers still have Bal, KC, and Buffalo as the tough teams, plus that H2H vs LV.
Jets still have Buf, Mia (2), Cle, and Hou left.
Bills have Jets, Eagles, KC, Dal (at home), LAC, Mia
Bengals have Bal, Pit (2), Jax, KC, Cle

Pitt/Cle no cake walk schedule either....

For LV, if Pierce gets the job, he needs to ensure he has excellent OC and DC. He can command the room, but still need to scheme to your strengths and opposition weaknesses.

If the team goes say, 1-2 from here, 4-5 overall with AP (3-5 before), do you give him the job or see if Harbaugh has interest first?
