I don’t think I can even watch game three. I might just pass and hope they win. If they do, I’ll have to repeat for the rest of the playoffs obviously, but if they lose at least it won’t ruin my night
 
Trouble is who can you legit trade or buyout given the term and salary. Nelson seems like one given a year left. Who takes Lee or Pag at their contracts?

The worst part is there is zero chance the owners are going to go with a rebuild because of the new building, the stupid shopping center, the All Star game in 2 years, they are going to want some buzz and some chance at competiviness so for the next few years the Isles are going to keep on dragging this over the hill team that has hit a wall and probably trade more of the future to try and eek in the playoffs again

What about those of us who only follow hockey? I used to be a Yankees fan but grew out of baseball. Modern-day Survivor sucks too. Guess I’ll have to read a book or something…

They're now 1-6 at CAR all time in the playoffs. We're 1-3 against them at home. 2-9 against CAR to date. Not great

So much better, I want to turn the page and enjoy spring and be done watching hockey. I don’t watch any other teams closely. I keep up enough through my Eastside Hockey Manager work.

Also it’s a fairly deep first round, if we keep the pick.

I hear you man. I wish, honestly wish, I didn't care about sports the way I do. I feel like I have no control.

That said you want a way out? Do something that makes sports look small. Go volunteer at a soup kitchen. Or visit a children's hospital. Whatever the isles do/don't do will feel tiny in comparison...And you'll feel so much better because you'll feel proud of yourself for doing so.

f*** that whiny ass fanbase, my Ranger fan friends are mega level annoying this season. You have the best team in the league yet you keep complaining about your “garbage” star players, f*** out of here.
