The Canes are a soft team, one of the softest in the league. Yet in 2 games we were dominated....Out hit, we looked like a bunch of p***yes compared to the BIG BAD CANES..

What a f***ing joke.

We made it and played well down the stretch admirable. But this team isn’t talented or hungry enough to win in the playoffs anymore. Changes are needed.

I’ve been saying it all year. Move the guys on the wrong side of 30 and get more skilled and younger.
I will say it again, their best chance was in 2021 but losing on a shorty in a game 7 hurts the most especially since i am sure we beat the habs in the finals.

Your not wrong but i just don’t see how you recover from that, you can chalk it up to just awful passive play after 3-0 lead and not deserving to win but honestly it more likely they get swept then win this series.

I thought we'd never recover from the stadium series either. They somehow responded.

DK what else to say. Canes may be better, they gotta prove it at our house now.

That’s gonna haunt me for the rest of my life that Yanni Gourde. Shorthanded goal. No disrespect to the Habs but I think we definitely beat them. we were a machine that year and because of long-term injured reserve cap tricks we lost.

They lose the game they were the better team and the game they got dominated

Should be 1-1, but they f***ed up royally.

It is what it is, but if this team goes out like this major changes are needed this offseason.

There is nothing the Isles can do that will get this core into a serious contender, you can tweak to keep them fighting for an 8th seed the next few years, this team has to have a complete FN rebuild, everyone outside of Dobson has to be for sale and the sooner the fans and management realize this the better the franchise will be
I’m not sure you read my post. I said there needs to be MAJOR changes. I’m not sure if I can be any clearer.

This season has had more gut punches with these blown leads then the Tavares walk year. It’s agonizing as fans to watch this filth. Beyond zero interest in this team

THANKS LOU!!!!
Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes need to be made in the off-season!

It's been the most painful season in quite some time. I've said this is the dumbest team in decades. The well is finally empty and the car is dead at the side of the highway. Big changes need to be made. Embrace the youth. Ishkakov, Dufour, Bolduc, etc. all need to be given a shot next season.

We're in for some major pain next season and probably 2025, but it has to be done. Pull thr trigger.

When you have a 3-0 lead you shouldn’t blow it in that fashion and give up the tying and go ahead goal 9 seconds apart.
We had no business being in that game but we were and we lead for the majority. Can’t lose like that
You said it was a sin to lose that game in that matter.....What I'm saying to you, is we didn't deserve to be up 3-0.....We were outplayed from the very beginning. THE ONLY reason we were up 3-0 is Anderson sucks. He's been shaky both games.....WE Deserve to lose and be embarrassed the way the game ended....Just the icing on the cake.

Talent yeah but hunger I disagree with honestly. Canes are better, we knew this and this was going to be a Herculean effort to beat them.

The worst part about this is that the Canes are gonna come out and choke against NYR, aren’t they

I said this on the main forum, their goaltending and secondary scoring depth is no good. I think they lose 4-1 or 4-2 to NYR. I personally feel this team won't win a cup as constructed unless somehow they avoid BOS/NYR in the playoffs and thats a big ask when you consider their window is going to begin closing soon

To me, it looked the Isles ran out of gas beginning halfway through the second. Cane's dominated the play and Isles seemed to be hanging on. I think their age caught up with them. We'll see their response on Thursday at home.

Clutterbuck was absolutely manhandled all night.

Only Maclean showed up. Dobson and Pelech with 2 of the worst games you will ever see

Winning the faceoff is not just winning the draw, is also following up with the puck battles.
Ahem, yes. He wins ones that are not crucial.
When it's white knuckle Time, I would bet the house The Other Team gains possession!!!

I would trade anyone on the roster with value. This team isn't it.

Tank the team for a few years, maybe we will have a contender by the end of the 2020s.
