I don't want Byfield to score 35+. We'll have to pay him $8,300,000 on his next contract then. Absolutely no PP time, or at least stick him on the half wall where he can't get easy tip-ins.

Byfield is someone i would gamble a big contract on.
It's not that he never did anything, he looked really good on the ice a couple of games.

10 x 8mill seems really steep but if he turns into a legit #1 center, it would be a steal especially with our 2nd center making 5.5 Mill

If you were threatened or a PM broke the site rules, get a mod involved. Complaining publicly about something that is unprovable is you playing victim and I am pretty sure it is against the rules to even talk about private messages.

Projecting Kings prospects to be to be similar players to Andrew Copp and Pierre-Luc Dubois is calling them busts.

He did not weasel out. Sol and I have a $50 bet on whether QB reaches 35 points. Shocking I know, someone who apparently thinks QB is a “bust” would be taking Sol’s action on this. But here we are.

I think QB gets anywhere from 35-45 this season.

This is equally a bet on the coaching staff as much as QB.. if he gets some pp2 and overtime id be all in on 35 points. Would also need a disclaimer for injury and games in the A (do they count toward the total or not). Dont rule out the A if things arent going well, there is a logjam of forwards and he is waiver exempt.. taking all that into account, its still an intriguing bet.

If QB hits AHL ice this season it is officially time to really panic. And it means I will 100% be sending a Venmo to Sol. If he goes down it means he has probably been as bad as he was last year and that coupled with the loss of games, means I would be drawing dead. I don't expect that to be the case though.

As for PP time, you would hope he is on the #2 PP over Danault, who was awful on the PP last year. It's to bad, Danault did so much good for the Kings but he is just not a PP player, hopefully the new coach sees that. Like running your really good 5'8 slot wr on a draw on 4th and 1, just not his game. I think the 1st unit will be 4 forwards and Doughty and the 2nd unit will be QB with someone like Kaliyev and Arvidsson.

Sarcasm or not. I have no issue putting money on something I believe in. And if it makes the season a bit more interesting that’s a big plus to me. I don’t want to sleep through the games as much as I did last season. This is a good incentive. This will be the best 50 dollars I’ve ever bet if Qb Cracks 35+. Herby pretty much took me up on my bet instantly. When I said anyone, I was going to do it with any one person. I thought that was grammatically correct, but if not, my bad.

FWIW, against the Sharks QB had 6.5 minutes of PP time and 4 individual high danger scoring chances (next was Lemieux with 1, no one else had any).

Todd McLellan is still our coach very good chance Danault and Iaffalo will be on any of the PP units. Agree 100% yet they continue to put them out there.
