i agree. summer vacation. Can see Jack and Luke coming to Van.
about as bad as what carolina paid for rantanen (50% retained). My point was that overall the package was bad. Not that it was a bad idea for the Devils. How's that for reading comprehension? Hughes will likely go to NJD in free agency anyways.
Scott Niedermayer was going to play with his brother.
The Hughes Bros live together all off season, they grew up together, this is an opportunity in the primes of the careers to potentially win together. GM Tom goes back 30+ years with the family, and Jack/Luke know how great it is to play in Jersey with a limited spotlight but all the benefits. You think Jim and Ellen like staying up late for the West Coast everyday?
He's coming to Jersey. The question is whether Van wants to get something back.
The return is going to be similar to Rantanen.
Dougie Hamilton, Simon Nemec and maybe a Gristyuk straight up for Quinn is solid return. Maybe a little bit more. But not that much more.
Can you blame him? He doesn't want to spend his prime dealing with this trash fire situation. Time to go play with his bros and leave Vancouver in the dust.
I don't think Bratt, Nemec and a 1st is far off. When do you get the chance to acquire an MVP-caliber player that is only 25?You're out of your mind.
he has no trade protection and 31 teams that want to trade for him. We are getting a bigger haul than any player since Lindros. Not getting all that if he is demanding a trade
our 1st round pick will be top 5 if we blow it up in season this year. take it out and add something else.Oh welz, sometimes you drop a carton of eggs and an omelete is made.
Nucks and Isles - Petterson, 1st round pick, D Petey, Hoggy for Dobson and Barzal and Nelson (Petey can play with Horvat)
Miller for any 1b/2a center and picks
Hahahahahhahahaha that is a good onehe has no trade protection and 31 teams that want to trade for him. We are getting a bigger haul than any player since Lindros.
Hahahahahhahahaha that is a good one
You guys are going to legit be on suicide watch when this is over holy smokes
One of Pettersson/Miller is being moved and fans like the one I quoted think Pettersson, earning $11.6M with 31 points, is getting a king’s ransom lmaoWhen what is over? Did you really take what Rutherford said so far out of context you believe the organization is closing in on a full rebuild? Whatever happens with Pettersson/Miller/Demko/Boeser won't change the philosophical direction that Alvin and Rutherford will take here. And that is to build around the organization's best player in history - Quinn Hughes.
Even if all the aforementioned players move on from the organization over the next couple years, there's still more than enough value from those players to re-tool the team around the league's beat defenseman. A full rebuild? Get serious here..I know it's difficult in this bait and troll thread.

Yup. These three boys love the juice in a Canadian market. Jersey or Vancouver for winning. No comparison really. All Canadian cities are where to play when celebrating winning with fans. The cities come alive.Could see Luke Hughes signing as early as this season with Van.

There will be a marketI think multiple other teams would pay more for him and roll the dice they could entice him to stay. Throw him in a winning environment and he might re-up, there's only speculation his desire to play with his brothers outweighs contending. The Staals never forced themselves together, clubs did it more than anything else.
