Barkov (flu) and Kukkonen (lower body) won't play tonight.
In the Canada game my prediction was (luckily) totally off, so I'll try again:
-Denmark's 1st line scores the first goal during the 1st period
Like someone said earlier, we're cautious because we are the overwhelming favorites; that's something we're not used to. The fans know and hopefully the players know that the game shouldn't be seen as another piece of cake, or else there could be a disaster. At least in the past Finns often tended to play up or down to their opponent's level; games against weaker teams are tight, games against the top countries are tight. It seems the new generation has learned away from this habit, which is awesome![]()

Lajunen directly replacing Barkov for this game.Rantanen first line center and Lajunen to fourth. Or Granny to first and Pulkkinen to second line.

Also, apparently it's Pyörälä who will stunt Barkov on PP. (This might elicit a naughty word or two from folks here.)
If that wasn't a rhetorical question... when you have eight, three. How many Dmen do you have to lose before you are screwed?

Relax. It's one game, so not mixing things up excessively because of that actually makes sense. If Barkov was out of the tournament, then we might see more notable shuffling of the deck.No No No, ............ng Lajunen with Jokinen and Laine![]()
Rantanen makes no sense in Barkovs slot on PP. Barkov is no playmaker there. What ticks me off more was that KJ gave the open PP spot to Pyörälä. What must Rantanen do to get some love in that regard?

But win this game, and things will be back to normal.
Well... it's the do-or-die game, but given our opponent, I'm willing to call it a calculated risk.
We are in the qf!!!god this is awesome!!!!
Come on denmark! Lets fight boys!
Not exactly where Barkov plays of course, but with minor adjustments things would certainly look far more promising than with Pyörälä there.Rantanen makes no sense in Barkovs slot on PP. Barkov is no playmaker there.
