I must say, Talbot had a good game. Never gave Sweden a chance. But a part of that is thanks to 183 cm 86 kg average size of swedish team. Both in Canada and in Russia game, swedes were not able to screen a goalie or to go to the crease. Lots of perimeter play and useless unprepared shots.

I feel for you Sweden. well sometimes countries have these odd years. and yours was this. and the capacity that Sweden has in its full roster is astounding. you are a great hockey nation hold your head high

All good then! and gratz to the victory... well deserved! from what i saw untill the 2-0 goal but i bet it was the same game the whole game throug
But i wont cheer on them
! but i think they will play in the middle of the night also so probably ther will only be throug sportbladet i follow that! and ill cheer on team Europe in that tournament!
LOL, so I wasn't the only one that noticed how often they played that song.
That was the best part of this game. That and that McD went scoreless.

Look, Talbot rebounded nicely today after a bit of a shaky start...Made a helluva toe save , was well positioned on that 2 on 1 , plus stood tall when we were down two men, yadda yadda...ALL in the third period...
Even so...He wears and deserves the goat horns for what he did/ didn't do vs Suomi...letting in 4 goals ( 3 of them weak ) on first 14 shots he faced ..So what if TC didn't score vs Finns? if ur only down 1-0, and with decent goaltending u should be...ur still in the game right till the last few ticks...pull ur goalie take a blast from the pt, a lucky deflection ...and suddenly ur going to OT
